- This banknote has lots of security details pointed out. Are the lines and texts about the security details complex enough to make it copyrightable? Stefan2 (talk) 13:55, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Not free. The selection of features to call out (and quite possibly the actual callout text too) looks sufficiently creative to merit copyright protection. It is not just a title, slogan, word, or short phrase—it is several entire sentences/fragments of text. RJaguar3 | u | t 16:19, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Taken from Ukranian WIkipedia - however page does not exist, using WebArchive shows http://web.archive.org/web/20100930141444/http://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A4%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%BB:GABAA-rec1.jpg - and the source? looks like "Encyclopedia of Neuroscience" - I therefore assume it has gone for lack of permission. Ronhjones (Talk) 17:05, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Deletion log from Ukrainian Wikipedia: 09:19, 1 листопада 2011 MaryankoD (обговорення • внесок) вилучив «Файл:GABAA-rec1.jpg» (Вільний замінник на Сховищі commons:File:GABAA receptor schematic.png. )
- Seems to mean "moved to Commons:File:GABAA receptor schematic.png" according to Google Translate, but that file is a different file, so the Ukrainian Wikipedia admin must have entered the wrong Commons file name. I suspect that this means that the file is on Commons somewhere (although neither under the English Wikipedia nor under the Ukrainian Wikipedia file name). Maybe an admin of Ukrainian Wikipedia can check a deleted version of the file information to check where it ended up. Since it seems to have been moved to Commons, I assume that the image is free. --Stefan2 (talk) 17:26, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Ah, well done. Look at the commons page commons:File:GABAA receptor schematic.png - only the last upload was transferred - no one uploaded the early versions - therefore I think we will have to assume that this is a copy of one of those early versions. Ronhjones (Talk) 18:08, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Note that the resolution doesn't match (but someone could have uploaded a thumbnail here). --Stefan2 (talk) 22:24, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
