Bukkake

Bukkake is a group sex practice wherein a series of men take turns ejaculating on somebody. There are strong overtones of erotic humiliation in this practice. Various styles exist, but a common form of bukkake seen in such publications will involve a woman or man sitting, lying down, or kneeling while men approach to masturbate until they ejaculate on her/his body, primarily on the face or in the mouth. The semen is left on the face as another man comes to repeat the routine.

History

Bukkake was popularized in Japanese adult media, by such Japanese adult video companies as Shuttle Japan, Soft on Demand, and Moodyz in the first half of the 1990s. It is to be assumed that a significant factor in the development of bukkake was the mandatory censorship of porn (porn mosaic) in Japan. Since the directors could not show penetration they had to invent new, visually-appealing ways to approach sex acts that would satisfy the audience without violating Japanese law.

One urban myth purports that the practice originated in feudal Japan as a method of punishing women who had committed adultery. However, this is not true as the source is the imagination of the writer of a certain adult website who concocted the story to entice readers to subscribe.

Fetish "forced bukkake" movies are popular in Japan. The typical plot features a young woman acting as a naïve, uniformed student or a demure pantyhosed office lady somehow finding herself in the predicament of being tied up and drenched with semen against her will.

The major producer of bukkake titles in the USA is JM Productions with its popular series American Bukkake. Porn Impressario Mike South also does it on Southern Bukkake. Although not explicitly a bukkake title (and not nearly featuring as many sperm-donors) but yet doing justice to the idea is Brandon Iron's series Baker's Dozen from Platinum X. Another is the website Cum On Her Face.

The major producer of bukkake titles in Europe is the Munich based John Thompson, whose best known series of titles is German Goo Girls (GGG).

The term “Bukkake” was popularized in the United States by talk show host Howard Stern on his nationally syndicated radio program. Controversy arose regarding the meaning of the word when station managers began censoring its use, inadvertently creating more interest.

Etymology

Bukkake is the noun form of the Japanese verb bukkakeru (打っ掛ける, to dash [water]), and means simply "splash" or "dash." The compound verb can be decomposed into two verbs: butsu (ぶつ) and kakeru (掛ける). Butsu literally means to hit, but in this usage it appears to be an intensive prefix as in buttamageru (ぶったまげる, "completely astonished") or butchigiri (ぶっちぎり, "overwhelming win"). Kakeru in this context means to shower or pour. The word bukkake is often used in Japanese to describe pouring out water (or other liquids) with sufficient momentum to cause splashing.

Indeed, bukkake is used in Japan and Tanzania to describe a type of dish where the toppings are poured on top of noodles, as in bukkake-udon and bukkake-soba. In Western culture, the word presumably refers to the act of splashing fresh semen on a woman's face.

Types of Bukkake

  • Forced Bukkake: This is where a willing participant acts or seems unwilling to get a facial shower from several men.
  • Bukkake Summit: Where a participant receives a bukkake shower but tilts the head back and opens the mouth, trying to catch it all. At the end of all the facials any semen not already ingested is collected and drunk by the target of the bukkake shower.
  • Snowball or Trade Bukkake: This style of bukkake has two or more targets, which after receiving the facials, the targets swap the semen from mouth to mouth or lick it off of each other's faces.
  • Semen Play Bukkake: Here is where many men ejaculate on the recipient's face, after which they play with the semen. This can include manipulating the semen with the fingers, gargling with the semen, or drooling the semen out of the mouth, Also the men may ejaculate on the participants food and they proceed to eat the food with the semen.
  • Dream Shower: Two people engage in sexual intercourse while several men masturbate and take turns ejaculating on the face or body.
  • Bottom Bukkake: Where the target bends over and bares their bare bottom towards the other participants. They then proceed to shower the target's bottom with semen.

Gokkun

Needless to say, the Japanese semen fetish has grown well beyond the art of bukkake, and now many popular titles circle around other themes, for example, gokkun, (literally "to gulp") which is the act of consuming large amounts of semen.
