File mover

(add requestview requests)

I'm an experienced editor, and I have a pretty good grasp of policy, both generally and as it relates to file naming. I've been making some file move requests lately for oddly named files, and it would be more convenient to just move them myself. Thanks. Torchiest talkedits 02:26, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done 4 GAs as well as 65 edits to the file namespace. Looking at your file edits, the seem to indicate that you are clueful and know what you are doing. --Guerillero | My Talk 02:56, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that. Torchiest talkedits 03:34, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I have worked here for a while and I'm mostly involved in File namespace. I am an administrator on Commons and a former filemover (see my old account Blue Marble. Due to my wish, it has been globally locked, I didn't do anything wrong to WMF). Despite my low edit count, I'm familiar with file renaming policy. Feel free to decline this request if I'm not experienced enough. Thank you Morning Sunshine (talk) 01:22, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user has 110+ edits (see count above) in file namespace. This user sometimes needs filemover's options. This user has read file renaming guidelines carefully. Tito Dutta 02:13, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't done a whole lot of file work for a couple years now, though I do run across it on occasion. However, I'm attending the Kansas City National Archives meetup next month and will likely be doing quite a bit of uploading; this tool will make organizing and clean up a bit easier Grey Wanderer (talk) 02:16, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
