Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, Cycle 8 is the eight cycle of Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. It is scheduled to air sometime in July of 2012[1]. This cycle will once again feature fashion model Elle Macpherson as executive producer and host of the show alongside a judging panel consisting of Julien MacDonald, Tyson Beckford (former host of Make Me A Supermodel), and Whitney Port. Beckford and Port Replaced judges Grace Woodward and Charley Speed for the eight installment of the series.[2] [3]
Production
Cycle 8 auditions began on Monday November 14 in Dublin Ireland, and wrapped up in Newcastle on Thursday December 1.[4] The filming of the show wrapped up on April of 2012, and it is scheduled to be broadcast on television on the month of July this summer.[1] [5]
Judges
Two judges from the previous cycle did not retain their positions. Although Macpherson continued as judge and executive producer along with fashion designer Julien MacDonald, fashion stylist Grace Woodward, and model Charley Speed withdrew from the show. They were replaced by Whitney Port and Tyson Beckford, respectively.[6]
Contestants
The cycle is expected to feature a boot-camp stage, similar to that of previous cycles. According to Tyson Beckford (one of the shows judges) 14 girls will proceed to the main competition after the final trim of semi-finalists.[5]
International Destination
This cycles international destinations have been to be revealed to be Toronto[5] and Dubai[7].
