Order of the Militia Crucifera Evangelica

Please explain why your deleted the "Order of the Militia Crucifera Evangelica" wikipedia record(G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement) - How is it a copyright infringement? The information is straight from their website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quaeryt (talkcontribs) 14:44, 12 September 2012 (UTC) Dear Jim,[reply]

thanks for the explanations. I will rewrite the entry with your comments in thought. I will take other companies' wikis as an example. The piece I wrote was a first attempt and was meant to be completed when I understand wikipedia a bit better. regards, Onnovisser1979 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Onnovisser1979 (talkcontribs) 14:53, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

UnofficialESC

Hi. I see that (like me) you got confused between article UnofficialESC and user UnofficialESC (talk). On the article talk page, which I have just deleted, there was a block notice from you, but the account doesn't seem to be blocked and, as you left a username warning there and the user is enquiring about changing username, I guess you changed your mind? Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:34, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Blakeney Point, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Weybourne (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Miss Queen World

I'm just letting you know since you deleted this page and blocked its author, that there are other pages too and that they are at AFD[1] right now. The page you deleted was also up for AFD. I don't know if you want to delete the others, but I am just bringing this to your attention. There's also this[2] and a bunch of similar pages created today by this user[3] you might want to look into also....William 16:21, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for note, I haven't time this evening, but I might knock them down in the morning Jimfbleak - talk to me? 19:09, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please reply back here. There is a notice at my talk page asking that replies be made where a thread is started.
The editor who created the Miss Beauty Internet pages, removed the AFD templates similarly to the creator of the Miss Queen World. Considering that and their use of their User page for setting up makes them smell like the same person to me....William 01:48, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK, think I've got them all Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:33, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Common toad

I have made further amendments to the "Taxonomy" section of Common toad. Your comments at the FAC page would be welcome. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:53, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad that you are happy with the Taxonomy section. It has changed since you gave your support earlier and if you were to indicate you thought the section now was satisfactory, I would be most grateful. Time is getting on and I suppose someone will make a decision soon as to whether the article passes or fails and I am worried that it may fail just because this issue is unresolved. I've nurtured this article since it was a little tadpole :) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:25, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Cley Marshes

Thanks for the note. I understand the important of consistency and would not view your edits as warring. There is a manuel of style for image placement, though I would have to look to see if my edits were even in line with the MoS. Regardless, I trust the proper decisions will be made as the article continues progressing through the FT process. Keep up the great work! --Another Believer (Talk) 18:28, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shotwings

  • I do not know what happened to the dab on "Shortwings". Did you delete it? It had three items listed on it and should not have been deleted. Please reply on the WP:Birds page in the shortwing/thrushes discussion. Snowman (talk) 20:51, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Boxing club

I have just seen that you advised the amateur boxing enthusiast to try writing a neutral referenced article on his talk page. He did, at the top of the page, with messages to JamesBWatson and to the world in general. I moved his draft article (which is no better) off into a sandbox here, moved the messages down to the bottom of the talk page here and replied. I am afraid, for all his enthusiasm, this is a WP:CIR case - e.g. I explained why I moved his messages from the top of the talk page, and he has replied at the top. Shortwing (Asian thrushes) listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Shortwing (Asian thrushes). Since you had some involvement with the Shortwing (Asian thrushes) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Amy Houck deletion / quick request...

Hi mate, you deleted Amy Houck while there was an AfD underway. Any chance you could help by closing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amy Houck as an admin and delete the associated 440 Artist Alignment also? Cheers, Stalwart111 (talk) 12:11, 18 September 2012 (UTC).[reply]

I saw - many thanks! Stalwart111 (talk) 05:35, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Admin's Barnstar
I'm sure I speak for thousands, and most probably tens of thousands of regular editors: you are one of the most widely respected admins on the whole en.wp project. Shirt58 (talk) 10:17, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think we may well get into a WP:MODESTEDITWAR here. Listen here, Jimfbleak, I'm far more modest than you'll ever be. D'oh! I claimed to be more modest than you, which means I am actually less modest than you. But then again, I admitted my immodesty, which makes me more modest than you. D'oh! I claimed to be more modest than you, which means I am actually less modest than you. Rinse and repeat.--Shirt58 (talk) 11:59, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Janine Layton Kimmel

Good Morning, I hope you can help me. I am trying to create a page for my boss. I wrote the about on her website with her help and she asked me to use that same info here. Can you please explain why your deleted the "Janine Layton Kimmel" wikipedia record(G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement) - There was no copyright infringement. All works are by Janine and used at her request and with her permission. Any help is greatly appreciated. Danithegreat (talk) 12:46, 20 September 2012 (UTC) Danithegreat[reply]

Article related to Arunendu Das

Hello Jim, I hope you remember about my article about Arunendu Das where you asked for more references because the one I had provided was not in English. I have found an old newspaper cutting which is in English and I think is good enough to support my text since that newspaper is one of India's leading dailies even today. Furthermore, I have also acquired a PDF copy of a booklet published by the band Mohiner Ghoraguli where they fondly remembers Arunendu das and a copy of a Bengali little-magazine where an interview with the man was published. Since these are scanned copies and are personally with me, please let me know if I can upload them somewhere (wikimedia perhaps?) And share the link in the reference section. I have also edited the language a bit so it does not appear "spammy".

Thank you for your guidance. Sarbojitganguly (talk) 18:41, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dynamic Numeric Authentication

Hello Jim, I was wondering additional information is needed to prevent Dynamic Numeric Authentication from being removed. I found a reference to this term in a patent at the URL http://www.patentstorm.us/applications/20100046553/description.html that also discusses this term. I tried to look it up, and found very little about this term and decided to create the Wiki page. Where I would and hopefully other woudl add to this information. I have done some research on the term and thought it should be included. If you could please make some recommendations that woudl permit the term to remain in wikipedia, I woudl appreciate it.

Deletion of Futuro Futuro company page

I would like to contest the "No indication of importance" criteria that you used in deleting this page.

The referenced company:

1.) In its market niche (residential kitchen ventilation equipment) offers more products than its next 5 competitors *combined*. 2.) Has been in operation for over a decade. 3.) Has operations in 2 countries, i.e. is an international-scale business. 4.) Has received *multiple* awards and critical acclaims from major industry organizations. 5.) Has invented and brought to market several technologies specifically designed to meet the strict new environmental design/build criteria set by LEED, NGBS, and other "green" standards.

Maybe I don't understand something, but IMHO an article about a successful business, that leads the market not only in the total number of products offered, but also in the number of "green" designs, new models brought to market per {pick a unit of time}, and critical acclaims, deserves a LITTLE MORE consideration than a "drive-by" shooting without any discussion whatsoever.

This is not a "basement operation", this is an INTERNATIONAL company with HUNDREDS of products. What other "significance" are you looking for?
