Requests for registration
Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.
Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.
Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *
. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.
{{AWBUser|your username}}

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add
to the top of this page.

Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.
If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

- What would you like to use AWB for? A large fraction of the edits are automated and reverts. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:19, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

- Not done Since you don't have a specific task which you need AWB for, I would suggest that you wait until you have 500 edits to mainspace. Some tips for the future: Please try to make more use of edit summaries and also the preview button to check edits before saving them, as you seem to often make many edits in a short period correcting errors minutes after saving them. Thank you for your contributions so far, and I look forward to seeing you back here in the future. - Kingpin13 (talk) 17:04, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Just unknown (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) 12:34, 7 October 2012 (UTC) I would like to change mentions of the phrase "Sidus HQ" to the correct naming of "SidusHQ" across english Wikipedia.

- Not done Thank you for your help so far, and also the offer to help more. However, AWB is a very powerful tool which it is easy to make mistakes with. Therefore we generally require that users have at least 500 mainspace edits. It is important that you become more familiar with Wikipedia before getting your hands on AWB, otherwise - no matter how well intentioned - you could be prone to making mistakes. As you are still getting to grips with Wikipedia (for example, you recently accidentally removed all the categories and interwiki links on the Namaste page), I must decline this request at the moment. Good luck with your editing - Kingpin13 (talk) 17:08, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

- (Non-administrator comment) Doesn't appear to be a bot.... Mdann52 (talk) 12:44, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Not done since the instructions were not followed. Careful instruction following is important to AWB use. Article edits are only 306 at this point. At the current rate of editing it will take several months to get to the 500 mark. Request can be reconsidered if the instructions at the top of the page are carefully followed. - StillwaterBot (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) As long-time approved user, I would like to get approval for my newly created legitimate alternate account.
