Hi there. I am the current maintainer of the Green Templeton Boat Club website, and I'd like to add more information to the Wikipedia page. This includes uploading various crests, photographs and illustrations to improve the amount of information available about our club. However, in order to do this, I'll need the correct permission level, particularly for the image upload mechanism. Andrew Symington (talk) 06:49, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Please review Wikipedia's policy regarding conflict of interest before editing the article you mention, it is not wrong to edit an article in which you have close relationship with but there are guidelines that must be followed if you want the information you post to stay in the article. Thank you. Mlpearc (powwow) 01:36, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting confirmed rights Mustafafirat (talk) 18:15, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just want to add some additional details sometimes. The system needs me to be a "confirmed" user to take that action.

  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 20:23, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to fulfil the request at Talk:Warm Bodies (film) to update the image, by cropping and uploading the new poster Shaz0t (talk) 00:00, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to update the milestones page on Billboard since it contains errors in the Songwriters with most # 1 in a year. I have all of Joel Whitburn Presents the Billboard Hot 100 Charts books and the update is backup by that source. I had made changes to other articles in wikipedia before using my registered IP address. Qbandreamer (talk) 02:03, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I was told I cannot remove the page for Tim Westwood. Is this the case? As i have seen other famous figures' Wikipedia pages taken down. If i cannot remove the page, how can I have access to edit the page? Thanks Hassanjustice (talk) 12:35, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Would like to edit semi-protected page "The Octonauts"; I currently have 8 contribs since May 2011. Thanks much, calum. Cdmackay (talk) 18:14, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done With this request 9 edits, and thus you need only 1 more to become autoconfirmed. Armbrust The Homonculus 22:13, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Want to upload images to Tylted and want the upload done under this user name (rather than using the requests for file uploads) so that when providing fair use rationale and source, it can come from an uploader account associated with the company. This account is an alternate of a personal account for privacy reasons. (Will provide an edit with the other account if this request can be deleted after the fact as it would otherwise be in this account's history and therefore would lose some of the element of privacy) RogueSaber (talk) 19:41, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Question - What is the copyright status of the image(s) or file(s) you wish to use? Armbrust The Homonculus 22:19, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I believe it is a logo under fair use. As it is being provided by the copyright holders, it was going to be granting permission to Wikipedia and include in the notes that the uploader (User:RogueSaber) got it directly from the company (Tylted as a source and has rights to it as well as any other imagery of the company. I had already made space for the images on the page before I remembered that this account was too new to be autoconfirmed. Hence the request. Thank you. — RogueSaber (talk) 22:40, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The Number One Stunnas MotorSport Club article isn't semi-protected, and therefore you don't need the confirmed permission to edit it. Armbrust The Homonculus 09:05, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
