This is Excellent!

Just wanted to thank the minds behind this article. Very informative, good chronogoical order, written clearly and succinctly, doesn't do side tracks out of the scope of the focus of the article, and from the standpoint of actual writing, it is also well done. Thank you. Don't get enough of such excellent work when I come onto Wiki, but this seems to prove it is very doable, and can be done very well. Might be pointing back to it, when I'm arguing over "too much opinion" or "too confusing" for other articles I've helped with - or haven't helped with. lol

Your hard work is noticed and appreciated! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.197.124.137 (talk) 19:44, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I crossed out the word 'prodigious' from the phrase 'alcohol intake' because this word DOES NOT mean copious, abundant as one may think. Let us all be careful users of language! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.21.38.230 (talk) 23:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia... that's how things are around here.

In Ralph Gleason's "The Jefferson Airplane and the San Francisco Sound", Marty Balin is quoted as saying that Grace Slick's song-in-progress "Lather" was about Jack Casady. Has anyone asked Grace about this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.160.250.253 (talk) 14:07, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Signe Leaves the Band

The section where it says "Also Anderson was quickly pushed out of the band," etc has two problems. First of all, it is unsourced. It is a pretty bad thing to say about the guy, even if it was a long time ago, and there should be some proof or I would advise against saying it. Second of all, I bet that "quickly" was meant to be "quietly." 75.69.189.42 (talk) 02:22, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Will in New Haven75.69.189.42 (talk) 02:22, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. But this could be put back with an appropriate reference, I would think. Mudwater (Talk) 03:09, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

airplane in Vancouver

This article was very informative, but does state that the Jefferson Airplane did not play outside the Bay area until late 1966. They, in fact, played the the University of British Columbia at Brock Hall at noon on January 21, 1966 and again at The Armory on January 22. They also played at the Russian Community Centre January 21, 1966 in the evening. They also played at the Trips Festivals in Vancouver and Richmond that year, but I am unsure of the dates.Patdornan47 (talk) 07:56, 23 January 2012 (UTC) --Patdornan47 (talk) 07:56, 23 January 2012 (UTC)--Patdornan47 (talk) 07:56, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
