The images I use are from my own collection of images on my computer — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msovietguy (talkcontribs) 11:01, 4 January 2013
That does not explain the copyright status - did you find them on the internet, or did you take them yourself? Please click the links in my original question to lead you to our copyright and image use policies (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:04, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
All of the images I upload I have taken myself — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msovietguy (talkcontribs) 11:15, 4 January 2013
Not done - These types of images must be free as they are replaceable. Free images should be uploaded to our free image repository, the Commons. I am editing an article within my area of expertise. I am uploading free non-copyrighted images using the wikimedia commons. As the existing article name is not the most accurate, I want to move it to a new one. BDyatkin (talk) 02:16, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If it's possible that your move is at all contentious, you'll need to use the requested move process to determine consensus for the move. It's also possible that we already have a redirect to it. What article are you speaking of, and what's your proposed title? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 10:55, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

SUNNY THOMPSON in the current touring one woman production "Marilyn Forever Blonde!" Marilyn1962 (talk) 15:50, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Why do you need confirmed permission. Armbrust The Homunculus 16:04, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You asked why do I need permission? Because Wikipedia told me I did. I really don't know and I'm very new to all of this. I just want what I typed to be put under "Portrayals" on the Marilyn Monroe page with SUNNY THOMPSON in blue of course so it goes to the link of the page I created for her. Apparently you are the one that says yes or no? I don't understand. Please if you can that would be GREAT! Thank you so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marilyn1962 (talkcontribs) 16:39, 4 January 2013‎ (moved from User talk:Armbrust)

User:Parth Aggarwal

The Wikipedia article on World War 2 has omitted India from the list of belligerents. Indian Army had an all volunteer force of 2.5 million troops who fought in North Africa under General Claude Auckinleck and later Field Marshall Montgomery. This is a great disservice to Indian soldiers who fought in the war like my grandfather. They were also involved in the European and Burmese campaigns. All this is evidenced in the wikipedia article 'Indian Army in World War 2'. What then is the rationale for omitting India, one of the highest contributors of manpower and resources, from the list of belligerents? If the argument used is that India was not independent then, then why is India included in World War 1? The Indian Armed Forces is still the same organisation today that they were before 1947 with the same units, regiments and traditions. I wish to add India to the list (with its pre independence flag) and that is all, India's role is already well documented in the same article yet it's not mentioned in the list of belligerents. •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 17:29, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
