Critical Reception
Live@Music gave the soundtrack a 3/5 stating that This Is My Dance Floor (5/5), Beat Of My Drum (5/5), Afterparty (5/5), Sharp As A Razor (5/5), Blow The System (4/5), I Can Do Better (5/5), I Do (5/5), Freaky Freakend (5/5), I'm Back (4/5), and Law of Averages (5/5), are solide dance-pop songs, but critisized Contagious Love (2/5), These Boots Are Made for Walkin' (3/5), Get'cha Head in the Game (3/5), for the use of autotune. L@M also stated that Future Sounds Like Us (3/5), sounds like a season two knock off that didn't make the cut. Live@Music critisized Holla At The DJ (The DJ Mike D Remix) (3/5), We're Dancing (Alex Gheane Remix) (3/5), and Shake It Up (Cole Plante 3.0 Remix) (2/5), as Disney running out of ideas for songs, adding that the Shake It Up remix sounds like a Justin Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat" rip-off.
MuchMusic gave the album a 3/5 commenting the album has high points but also has many low ones including the remixes. MuchMusic also stated that Bella should not contribute to the soundtracks if she will continue to use autotune like she has in this album and the past, pointing out her autotune use in (The Same Heart, Made in Japan, TTYLXOX, Watch Me, Blow The System, Get'cha Head in the Game, Fashion Is My Kryptonite, and This Is My Dance Floor). MuchMusic stated that The autotune works for songs like (Watch Me, Blow The System, and Fashion Is My Kryptonite), but all in all shows she is not as good as a singer as her counter parts Zendaya and Caroline Sunshine.
