I wish for my account to be confirmed so I can upload an image for Aleksandar Tonev. It has no copyright whatsoever.
- Question: What do you mean "no copyright whatsoever"? Every image has some form of copyright - do you just not know what the exact copyright is? Where does the image come from? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:28, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. - I would like to be confirmed to upload a historical article and information that is generally not known neither can be found on internet or anywhere else for that matter concerning the original inventor of the automatic mechanical changing gearbox and centifugal clutch for motor vehiches with forward and reverse gears that revolutionised the production of automatic motor vehicles in the worlds motor vehicle industry. The inventor was an Australian and my father who in 1946 registered patents in Australia, Great Britain, United States, Canada and France. He was also provided with Letters of Introduction by the Commonwealth of Australia to visit those countries to market his design to the major motor vehicle manufacturers of the time. In support of the article I have the copies and details of the patents registered in each of the countries listed and copies of the C of A Letters of Introduction which will also be uploaded. I feel this is historical information that should be available to anybody who may have an interest in the history of automation in the motor vehicle industry.
I note that there is an article about Automatic Transmission on your site. This article references early inventions such as transmissions driven by belts or steam. These designs were not suitable for a commercial marketplace. The article goes on to say that General Motors designed the mechanical gearbox in 1933. This segment of the article is incorrect and demonstrates the lack of information available on the design of the automatic transmission and centrifugal clutch. Though I am aware that this article may be edited I would also like to submit a fresh article specific to the design of the Mechanical Changing Gearbox.

Dear Wikipedia administrator,
I am seeking to make the Snoop Dogg wikipedia page up-to-date by including a few sentences about his latest philanthropic project, Mind Gardens. Specifically, I seek request to add two updates to the introductory paragraph AND to section "1.5 2012–present: Snoop Lion, Reincarnated" on the Snoop Dogg wikipedia page. The link can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snoop_Dogg#2012.E2.80.93present:_Snoop_Lion.2C_Reincarnated.
I am requesting to add a brief two sentences to the end of the introductory paragraph. The italicized portion is already on the page:
"In 2012, after a trip to Jamaica, Snoop announced a conversion to the Rastafari movement and a new alias, Snoop Lion. Under the new moniker, he released a reggae album, Reincarnated, and a documentary film of the same name, of his Jamaican experience, in early 2013." Just as his trip inspired his redefined identity, it also inspired his initiation of the Mind Gardens project in late 2012. The project is a campaign that seeks to establish community gardens worldwide that provide children sustainable and nutritious food.
In addition to this update, I am seeking permission to add to the section "1.5 2012–present: Snoop Lion, Reincarnated". I intend to add this short paragraph immediately after the last paragraph currently in this section:
Snoop's trip to Jamaica additionally motivated his late-2012 launch of the Mind Gardens campaign, a philanthropic project that helps children across the world access healthy foods. Pairing up with beverage provider Reed's Ginger Brew to give back to the Jamaican community, Snoop established two organic gardens in neighborhoods within Kingston, Jamaica. He is currently seeking to expand his project in the U.S. by spreading awareness about how community gardens support healthier eating and habits among youth.
Thank you for your time and consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Miao.qq94 (talk • contribs)
