Hello there. I have moved your draft article to User:Elvirtuoso/Burkard Schliessmann. Drafts (or articles) should never be created in Template space. However, I have removed the text from your draft. Article about the pianist Burkard Schliessmann

Hello, dear ladies and gentlemen, dear Guy Chapman,

last week we created an article about the classical pianist Burkard Schliessmann. In our article we left out all emotions and tried to be neutral, we listed objectively his honours/awards and distinctions as well excerpts of the CDs, DVDs, TV-productions and so on in a tabulate-form, in addition to references and lonks to make all verifiable. We also orientated us according the style of the article about Diana Krall and Emanuel Ax, for mentioning two. Obviously we are wrong. So, we would like to propose the following: Under our <Talk> you find the files of Burkard Schliessmann: Please could you take a few minutes to examine/change/correct these files so it would be appropriate to WikiPedia? This would be very kind! As Guy Chapman states, the artist really is notable, so it would be fine if there could be a common upcoming. We are sure with your experience it will work out well!

Thank you so much!

Yours sincerstly,

Joanna McFerrin, El Virtuoso Productions LTD

Conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Elvirtuoso. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Because you have a conflict of interest, you should be submitting your article through Wikipedia:Articles for creation rather than moving it directly to main article space. I have tagged the draft at User:Elvirtuoso/Burkard Schliessmann as a draft, which includes a link to submit it when you believe it is ready. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:11, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Username concern

Generally, we have a practice of hard-blocking corporate accounts that create promotional articles. But since you are trying to do the right thing, I will hold off and give you this notice:

Your username Elvirtuoso violates Wikipedia:Username policy. Your username must not represent a company or role. It must represent only you as an individual. You can name yourself "Joanna at EVP" (for example) to designate association with your employer if you want, but the point is that the account must be yours, yours alone, and not accessible by anyone else. There are mixed opinions among administrators about including a company name in a personal username, so if you decide to omit it, that's fine, but remember to disclose your conflict of interest on your userpage. Transparency is always a good thing.

Before you do anything else, go to WP:CHU/Simple to request a change of username. I will give you a few days to do this before I block this account. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:11, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
