why isn't she in more movies?

why isn't she in more movies, why doesn't she get in more films? does she have personal reasons for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sp0 (talkcontribs) 03:34, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was thrown from a horse and had to have a laminectomy.. I was about ready in the hospital between the chicken ala king food and my blabbermouth room mate to hang myself with the bed sheet...Then he pops in this beautiful movie...Helen Hunt made those two hours when the vicodin was wearing off livable! I say this is the movie part Miss Hunt was born to play....I liked how her accent kept changing during the course of the movie...from mid western to Boston nasal....it was almost as if she were two actresses! I disagree with Marc S. Helen hunt is pure sex on a stick

The bio text needs to be gone through and checked for copyvio. Also, titles need to be italicized, and wikified. Dismas 15:53, 13 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also, whats with her dad being half-Jewish. I mean, we all know that an out-of-ratio amount of directors and producers (and actors) are Jewish, but whats his other half? It doesn't seem like it matters, like his Jewish half is the only one people would want to know about.

Deleted the half Jewish part. I agree with what's said above.

Then, find the other half. Michael 08:02, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed actually. Other half was probably not "exotic" enough to mention :) Mad Jack 09:20, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If the "half Jewish" part was deleted, why is it still there (as of Aug 2, 2006)? 71.131.229.174 14:50, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I reinstated it. There's no reason for it to be deleted. Michael 08:49, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How can someone be "half Jewish", could a person be, "half Christian" or "half Muslim"?JEdward 18:27, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Jewish" can describe a religion and/or an ethnicity. Michael 06:44, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't I add to the article saying that she bears a slight resemblance to John Kerry even though it's factual? Is it still considered vandalisim?

That Helen Hunt "bears a slight resemblance to John Kerry" is your opinion not fact. ie. it doesn't belong in an encyclopedia.Teral 22:00, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What movie was she in where she reveals her butt crack? --69.67.229.216 03:30, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia section edits

What was the reason for removing the trivia about Cast Away ("In the movie Cast Away towards the end of the film, when Hunt runs after Tom Hanks she mistakenly shouts "Jack! Jack!", instead of the name of the character "Chuck, Chuck".)? It does seem a bit far fetched that they wouldn't re film the scene but the goof seems quite popular on google and is even mentioned on wiki (Jack Shepard). Gimboid 09:30, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Spell does not link to the 1977 TV movie, but to an unrelated 1998 novel by British author Alan Hollinghurst. NBK1122 (talk) 20:12, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Daughter's name

How is her daughter's name actually spelled? IMDb says "Makena Lei" like this article, but Matthew Carnahan says "Måkena lei", and a newpaper article (unfortunately in the Mercury News whose archives disappear after a while) says "Makena'lei". --67.109.56.162 (talk) 20:35, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Change of appearance

I didn't even recognise her in "Bobby" - what happened to her ? Cosmetic surgery ? -- Beardo (talk) 02:05, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate Referencing under Personal Life

Notes 4 and 5 do not function as intended:

1. I can't get the link for note #4 to work at all. This reference is supposed to support that Helen Hunt is part Jewish through her paternal grandmother. If the link doesn't work, there's no support for the statement.

2. The link associated with note #5 does not mention anything about Hunt having a Methodist background. It's an article about Paul Reiser, and Reiser's sole comment on Hunt's background is, "Actually, Helen seems very Jewish since she is smart and funny, and in real life she is partly Jewish." Nada about anything Methodist.

Consensus about how to correct these problems? Mrs. Peel (talk) 07:53, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Funny, I had no problem at all opening the link for reference #4. If you have problems with cites, there are templates to mark the problems. Wildhartlivie (talk) 08:20, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Today the link is working. Gremlins, go figure. What do you think about my question #2 about note #5? I read comments on this page concerned about the rest of HH's background, and recognize there is an interest in rounding out her profile. However, as I wrote above, I simply see no reference to HH having a Methodist background in the source article. Am inclined to delete. If anyone sees something in the source article I missed, pleased do let me know. Thank you. Mrs. Peel (talk) 05:59, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There's a reference to her having a Methodist background here. Could be added to the article as a ref. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 08:01, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since when can someone be "part" Jewish? One is either Jewish, or not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.183.222.222 (talk) 08:53, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
