This is a list of number-one electronic albums in the United States by year from the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
Lady Gaga currently holds the record for the most weeks at number one, 128. This includes her debut album, The Fame, reaching the top spot for 106 non-consecutive weeks, her third EP, The Fame Monster, and her remix album, The Remix, peaking at number one as well. On 11th June, Lady Gaga's second album, Born This Way jumped from 10 to 1 making it the biggest leap in the chart's history. However The Fame Monster fell off the charts a week after ranking at number 5, making it the biggest drop on the chart. It remained on the charts for 78 weeks. The Fame is the longest running album to date with 149 weeks on the chart, before plummeting down off the charts, tying The Fame Monster's record for the biggest drop in the Billboard History. In 2003, Louie DeVito became the first male and only artist in chart history to have five number-one albums in a calendar year and in 2010, Lady Gaga became the first female artist to have three number-one albums in a calendar year. Born This Way: The Remix peaked at No. 3 making it Gaga's fifth album to debut on the chart.
