Jai Ho is an upcoming Bollywood action Drama film starring Salman Khan, Daisy Shah, Sana Khan, Tabu.[2] It is a remake of Telugu film Stalin starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The film is directed by Sohail Khan under the Sohail Khan Production franchise. The film is set to release on 24 January 2014.[3]

Development and promotion

In late 2012, Sohail Khan announced his intention to remake the film Stalin(2006 film). Renaming it Mental, Sohail began to put the project into action. Shooting started on 27 February 2013 but was then postponed from February to March. Shooting began in late March 2013. The project was re-titled to Jai Ho. While there were rumors that the film would release in 3D formats, Sohail Khan said, "First, let me complete my film in the normal format. Then I'll take a call".[5] The first poster was unveiled by Salman Khan on 6 December 2013. It consists of a digitally merged image of thousands of fans rendering a portrait of Khan and was created by his fans.[6][7][8][9][10][11] On 12th December 2013, a first look teaser was released on Eros Now channel on YouTube.

Soundtrack

The soundtrack of Jai Ho is composed by Sajid-Wajid & Amal Malik. Sajid Wajid have composed 4 track for the film while Amal Malik has composed 2 tracks. A track sung by music director Himesh Reshammiya has been confirmed by the duo Sajid-Wajid.[12]
