The material you are changing is against what is cited to reliable sources in the article. "Pangaea came out in 1976 in Japan..." → Chambers (1998), p. 275. Please discuss why you believe your changes are correct and if you can verify them. Otherwise, please refrain from reintroducing your changes to the article(s). Also, names in the Personnel section are in alphabetical order by the musicians' last names (MOS:ALBUM#Personnel). Some of the information you are challenging isn't originally from Wikipedia, but from Jack Chambers' biography on Miles Davis, one of the standard Davis biographies. You'll need to cite a better source than Chambers.

• I see the year "1975" in the image you may be referring to (which is also at Discogs.com), but its "(P) 1975", meaning the publishing date. Along with Chambers, Colin Larkin verifies 1976 as its release year in his Encyclopedia of Popular Music ([1]), as does the Rolling Stone Album Guide ([2]). Dan56 (talk) 00:37, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

• MOS:ALBUM#Personnel shows the names listed alphabetically (by last names) in their respective sub-sections. Ordering them by importance is rather subjective, debatable, and opens the door for any editor to argue what other name should be placed ahead of whomever. My own argument may be that this was a band effort and Davis gave the album to them, like Robert Christgau said ("...Miles isn't the hero here -- he gives the album to the band...").
