DYK nom - Mary Potter
Hello again! I was wondering if you are willing to nominate Mary Potter (painter) for DYK? The key creators are User:Jasmine 51 and me. A possible hook might be: "...that in 1957, painter Mary Potter swapped houses on the east coast of England with composer Benjamin Britten?" All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:49, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, will do, but only on Tuesday. Still busy over the weekend. Happy Easter, Pgallert (talk) 09:50, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks! Happy Easter! -- Ssilvers (talk) 14:35, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Another DYK: Lyndsie Holland
One more?: I am the creator. A suggested hook: ... that Lyndsie Holland played 12 of the Gilbert and Sullivan contralto roles with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company? [Also, should we add the image?] I hope you had a nice holiday! -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:36, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- Will do, but today I'm tired. Easter was nice, repairing our playground with my two small boys. They like that more than actually playing on it, and it is a welcome contrast to my office job. Hope you had a rewarding weekend, too. Cheers, Pgallert (talk) 20:06, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- Done, see Template:Did you know nominations/Lyndsie Holland. The picture is not allowed (fair use) and would probably not be very attractive at 100x100 size. --Pgallert (talk) 08:51, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks again! -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:07, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

DYK for Mrs Howard Paul
Hello, Pgallert! Would you kindly nominate Mrs Howard Paul? Her photo is free (1870s), so it could be included if you think it's good. A hook might be: ...that after Mrs Howard Paul starred in The Sorcerer, Gilbert and Sullivan cut down her role in H.M.S. Pinafore, and so she left the cast. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:47, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, Ssilvers, sorry for the silence. I guess my absence notice on top of the page wasn't big enough, and I see you have nominated it yourself in the mean time. Cheers, --Pgallert (talk) 07:44, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Oops! Thanks anyway. Hope you're doing well! -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:13, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
