Welcome!

Hello, Cebr1979, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Jenny Everywhere have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

Sources

Thanks for digging up some sources, but I'm afraid fan sites aren't considered to be reliable sources by Wikipedia's guidelines. Wikipedia only covers aspects of a subject that have already been covered in books, newspapers and similarly authoritative sources - it's generally a good rule of thumb for deciding what to write about, and what not to write about, when considering, say, a comic book character. If these are the best sources available for the spinoff characters, then they aren't (yet) suitable material for Wikipedia, so I've gone ahead and cut the section. I hope that makes some sense. --McGeddon (talk) 19:59, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to List of people claimed to be Jesus, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 22:13, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So should I add the link to the facebook profile page where the claim has been made?Cebr1979 (talk) 22:16, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You will need a reliable secondary source which thoroughly documents the claim. Multiple sources and significant coverage are better to establish notability of the subject in question. Elizium23 (talk) 22:41, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I just wanted to explain to you why we're allowed to list Sean Carrigan as a main cast member in this article. There are valid sources that say he is on contract with the series. I know that the current closing credits list him as recurring, as the episodes where he is a regular haven't begun airing yet. However, because in present time he is on contract, we're allowed to list him in the main cast. Hope I've cleared up any confusion. That being said, as of now I would also like to ask you to stop putting him back in the recurring cast. In you have any questions, just ask. Thank you. Take your grievances to List of X-Men members talk page before starting an edit war. Also, maybe you need to brush up on your wiki guidelines as it is against said guidelines to act like a jerk in someone's talk, so learn to be civil and assume good faith when someone makes edits that go against yours and don't jump to conclusions and say things like "perhaps you should read some comics first" and other such nonsense. Also, previews are not a verifiable method on which to base edits, as they are not released and can be taken out of context once the whole issue is read.68.33.142.75 (talk) 03:57, 26 January 2014 (UTC) Seriously, drop the attitude. First of all, stop saying I've never read the book, I've read it ever since it started. Second, learn how to use this site. Everytime you hit the undo button like you were doing, the entire powers section within the article would disappear. Hence why the on the edit history it would say (-3,514)‎ next to the edit, because you were removing something of that size from the article. And the only reason that it didn't happen the last time, after which you sent yet another uncivil message, is because you didn't hit the undo button and only added the X-Men listing. Third, an edit war is started when one user undoes another edit that had undone the user's original edit. And finally, you will be reported for your behavior. 68.33.142.75 (talk) 04:27, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Report away. Wolverine and the X-Men say's Doop joined the team. I explained that in my original edit yet, you still undid my edits saying they were unjustified or whatever. You don't own Marvel. Or the X-Men. Or their wikipedia page. You don't like Doop being on the team because, in your OPINION, he's not a member? Meh. That's your problem. He IS a member. Marvel said so. Almost three years ago now. Stop changing valid edits like you own the internet.Cebr1979 (talk) 04:33, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.33.142.75 (talk) 05:09, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Information icon Hello, I'm Livelikemusic. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. livelikemusic my talk page! 01:23, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes... we need to collaborate yet... Every single thing I do, you revert because you don't feel it's worth it. When I come to talk to your talk page to discuss it, you delete my posts so that it looks like I haven't tried to communicate with you. Stop! You're bullying the newbies and that's against wiki policies. Being here for 8 years, you should know that by now.Cebr1979 (talk) 01:58, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Cebr1979: I am not bullying you. I deleted your postings because they did not follow the "rules" I placed on my talk page to keep things consistent and fair. And you continually personally attack me, which is against Wikipedia policy. I am sorry if you felt bullied, but that is not my intention to do so. livelikemusic my talk page! 02:04, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

They did follow the rules. You were being childish and needing to show your superiority. You didn't like the word "sometimes" so you deleted it... twice. I gave you the reason behind it. You still deleted it but, changed it to "often" because that's a word you like better and you always need to have the final edit. Calm down and start collaborating instead of acting like you own. Cebr1979 (talk) 02:08, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your continual personal attacks against me (especially when I explained the change multiple times of 'sometimes' to 'often' seem to be ignored) are not civil in anyway. I tried apologising and you couldn't seem to take it as a potential good faith edit towards trying to resolve this conflict between us. livelikemusic my talk page! 02:11, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sweetheart, I already did all that and you deleted it to make it look like you were coming to me first. I'm on to you, you're being silly. Cebr1979 (talk) 02:14, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Neat!Cebr1979 (talk) 02:22, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Cebr1979, I see I got pulled into this issue when you mentioned some of my older posts about the differences Livelikemusic and I have on the Days of Our Lives Wiki page. For the past year or so, I've pretty much given up on trying to do any edits on the Days page (which is the only Wiki page I work on). Livelikemusic had listed Mark Collier's character as Liam Frasier for the entire time Liam was on the show. His last name is spelled Frazer (and always has been in the end credits), but I never bothered to change it, since it would probably just get changed back to the incorrect Frasier (and I would be told that end credits can't be used...I still never figured out where he came up with the incorrect spelling of Frasier though). And thanks for mentioning my posts about the TV credits on that other page. I'm no "Wiki expert", but when someone challenges my edits (as Livelikemusic has done in the past), I then take the time and read up on Wiki policies and find the ones that are relevant...such as the one you mentioned that permits TV credits being used on Wiki. I haven't had much contact with him in recent months, but he decided to insult me in his recent Days update (calling me "lazy" since I did not add a few minor roles to the "former cast page", when in fact, I'm the one who worked on that section a few years ago, and added in a number of larger roles that were never listed before). In regards to his "lazy" insult, I posted a comment to him on his page, but he has yet to respond. I also added that I would follow his page rules of being "respectable, calming and non-insulting", even though he doesn't mind being rude himself. It's funny, there was an editor earlier this year (or possibly late last year) who was badgering Livelikemusic about needing sources for the episode numbers/production numbers. Even though we have our differences, I put those aside, and I took awhile to locate the correct Wiki policies (which state production materials and scripts can be used, even if they are not easily available and only in research libraries (and even took time to scan in a script page showing the episode # vs. the production number). So he totally came on board and backed me up on that issue (since the episode numbers were an issue he felt strongly about, so in that one instance, we agreed on something). So, I'm always willing to work nicely and be kind to him for the good of Wiki, but, now he's back to calling me lazy, so I guess we're back to square one! Sorry you are having trouble with him now. I'll wish you the best of luck on dealing with him!! Jason47a (talk) 08:49, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
