Hello, I'm Erik, and I have been editing Wikipedia since 2005–06. I edit primarily articles related to film. Since articles about films are frequently at the top of search engine results, Wikipedia has an opportunity to teach readers about the films. I am also a member of WikiProject Film and am an active contributor at the WikiProject's talk page. I have also helped write the Manual of Style for film. I often work on creating or expanding articles about upcoming films and consolidate all the development and production information to date. With new films coming out every year and their Wikipedia articles getting heightened traffic upon their releases, there is always work to do.
I wrote the Featured Article Fight Club, which was displayed on Wikipedia's main page for the film's 10th anniversary on October 15, 2009. I have also written several Good Articles both on my own and with others. Some examples include Apt Pupil (film), Doomsday (film), Hancock (film), The Fountain, and Valkyrie (film).
