Syro (stylised as SYRO) is an upcoming album by English electronic musician Richard D. James, released under his most frequently used pseudonym, Aphex Twin. It will be his sixth studio album under this alias, and his first to be released in thirteen years, following the release of Drukqs in 2001. It is also his first official release under any pseudonym since 2006's Chosen Lords, a compilation of tracks from the Analord Series and 2007's Rushup Edge.

Release

Promotion for the album first began when a green blimp featuring the Aphex Twin logo and the number '2014' appeared over London on August 16, 2014. On the same day, Aphex Twin graffiti was reported outside the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.[1] Two days later, the Aphex Twin Twitter account posted a link to a hidden service using deep web browser Tor, providing the album's title and tracklist.[2]
