File mover

(add requestview requests)
I would like to help move Wikipedia files that require renaming. I am already a filemover at Wikimedia Commons, where I primarily move files that have to be renamed. EthicallyYours! 07:39, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You have only had one request for a filename on Wikipedia, please use {{rename media}} and be sure to review enwiki's file renaming criteria. Once you find you are having to request this frequently or regularly feel free to request again. — xaosflux Talk 02:37, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I am much too familiar with the renaming criterion. Prior to being assigned the filemover in Commons, I had made a 150+ successful rename requests, and later, about 50 file moves that were accurate. My intention in asking for the filemover here was to occasionally help out in moving files that require renaming, Xaosflux. However, if you feel I am not ready to take up the bit here in enwiki, you are free to disregard it. EthicallyYours! 06:43, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have uploaded a lot of files, and often patrol file pages. I spot typo errors easily, as I am a WikiGnome, which forces me to use the Rename Media template. I hope in the future I can move the filenames by myself, so as to minimise the fuss needed for file movers and administrators. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 09:06, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
