Anyone interested in improving this article may find the original source of the graph used in this article (which was part of my own work on Hours of service which will be featured on the Main Page Feb 26) a very comprehensive source of deeper information regarding work fatigue. It is called Regulatory Impact and Small Business Analysis 5.
