Gabbar is Back is an upcoming Hindi action drama film directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. [1] [2] [3] [4] Featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role, the film is a remake of 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa. [5] Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Nikitin Dheer will appear in supporting roles. [6] The soundtrack and film score are composed by Chirantan Bhatt, Yo Yo Honey Singh.The film has a planned release date of May 1, 2015. Official trailer [7] is releasing on 23rd March. [8] [9][10]

Marketing
They had started using hoardings at Metro stations and other Public places to promote the movie. Akshay Kumar released a look of the movie on twitter on 18 March. Akshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna also took to Twitter to promote Gabbar is Back. [12]
Distribution
worldwide distribution rights of the film were sold for ₹85 crore (US$10 million).
