Manzoni's work makes almost no sense as a stand-alone concept. Manzoni was keenly aware of the power of irony in the post-modern sense, right down to his death which closely followed that of Yves Klein. You can look it up.

Shit indeed
Even by Wikipedia's very modest standards, this article is remarkably poor. For starters the unsourced statement that Manzoni is "best known for his ironic approach to avant-garde art" reveals an idiotic misunderstanding of Manzoni's work and of conceptual art in general. No article would be better than such a heap of crap.
