I think the game Cricket took most of the focus. Not a single sports-person who plays anything except cricket gets as much recognition as much even a newcomer in Cricket gets. For example, Robin Uthappa. See a page by his name already exists. So common ppl, lets hoist the flags of other sports and other sportsperson. Cheers. --Jayanta 05:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All Data Deleted

All data and pictures now deleted but Why?

How can delete all the records and data of a sports person. Wikipedia should take care of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.96.97.239 (talk) 16:42, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes All Data Deleted by Bgwhite

As per Bg white all the data was mess and not important. Concept about Wikipedia is changed for us.They don't know how all the data are important for all. All the data was very rare collection of An Indian Sports person. So it is better to not follow the Wikipedia from now onwards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Table tennis pic (talkcontribs) 16:53, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Respected Wikipedia

As an Indian it is very shocking and very painful for us that you people delete all the performance data from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouma_Das .

But Why? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.99.12.72 (talk) 17:05, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:UNDUE and WP:IINFO. Mdann52 (talk) 19:25, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Only 10% information,90% data deleted

It is not about Edit war.It is all about feelings for our National Sports person,Say example you have 20 Awards if I tell you please show only 5 Awards, or write only 5 awards in your bio-data instead of 20.Think this way then you can understand it. About blocking or deleting as a Authority of Wikipedia you can,but it is sure in India we loose trust in your site, due to this half hearted work and only 10% information,Now upto you what you want to.Now in this page all the International Data you delete. But why? This is actually Insulting..Thanks Dear User:Bgwhite Can you please edit this page for us,Any data you want with accurate reference we will provide. Please do this for us...Thanks & Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Table tennis pic (talkcontribs) 07:13, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Now,99.99% data deleted

Done by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mdann52 It is an Insult to us as Indian. Great reward by Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Table tennis pic (talkcontribs) 18:05, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Now there is a big question about the Wikipedia's Authentication

People from India and other place should know about the real truth behind the wikipedia. Any one can edit or delete the data. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Table tennis pic (talkcontribs) 18:24, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

tables

Table tennis pic Most of the tables you added are "minor". Only "major" events are usually listed in articles and these are usually major international events. This includes Olympics, World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Commonwealth Championships. If one places towards the at the national championship can also be included. Take a look at table tennis greats Deng Yaping and Wang Nam, and notice how only the majors are listed.

I started adding the Commonwealth table. Bgwhite (talk) 09:16, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bgwhite I do not understand why you delete few most important tables which not minor.
You also delete the few personal details like place, birthday,I do not understnad suddenly what happened ???

All are try to hide or delete the original data, and some time the data was too much, because the player is Indian that's why? Please delete all this is my request.

Table tennis pic Please sign your posts with four tildas (~~~~). It leaves a signature behind so we know who the post is from. I did not remove the material this past time. Many people (I think eight) have been removing it for the same exact reason. There needs to be references, which you have not provided. Only the majors are listed. I have given you examples of players, world champions, that show only the majors listed. I added the table back in and added some references. I did this to give you an example of how it is done. Follow the examples I have done or what is in other articles, but stop throwing up everything up on the page. Bgwhite (talk) 19:19, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Titodutta I know why you try to delete the original details of Mouma Das. You not want that people should know the actual data of A sports person. It is not about edit war it is all about your personal attention to hide all the records of a Sports Person from Bengal. This matter must be need attention of Indian Sports Ministry regarding this misrepresentation of a Sports person.

Table tennis pic You are making threats and accusations towards Titodutta. This is totally uncalled for. Have you not noticed eight people doing reverts and not just Titodutta? Have you not read material that was given? Wikipedia is not a place where you own an article and you only decide what goes in it. There are rules, standards and everybody can edit a page. I given you a great amount of latitude as your actions seem more of not understanding. This is now over. We have told you why you are being reverted. We have told you how to edit a page. Any more accusations towards Titodutta and I will personally block you. Any more putting up everything with no refs will get you blocked. Follow the rules and guidelines like everybody else. Bgwhite (talk) 19:19, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Many Thanks

TitoduttaBgwhite Thanks to you all editor, Yes now onwards I will not edit or update the data, I will try to help wiki with correct data and details but I will not help you or edit anything now onwards, as your wish lack of data and lack of knowledge of the editor regarding sports and our country,Some how or some different way why wiki hide the details of our Indian Sports person that still now I am not able to understand. It is ok from your side that yours any editor can anytime edit or delete anything because wiki is you alls property not our country's site or property,Some how I felt that some editors done insult to our sports person as well as our nation that why I try to help you but you,but no more help now onwards.Still in current data one more medal is missing, even last editing I already give all authorised references with all data but that was also deleted and all authorised sources from our Government Authorised body which your editor marked as under suspect, again it was insult to our Nation.May my reply not at all important for you. With due respect to all of you But it is very much true that some any point you all admin or editor try to miss represent us.Good Bye
