The AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award is given annually by the Associated Press to the offensive player of the National Football League believed to have had the most outstanding season. Multiple-award winners include Marshall Faulk and Earl Campbell, both of whom won the award three times each, as well as Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Tom Brady, Terrell Davis, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning, all two-time award winners. As of the 2015 NFL season, the most recent winner is Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers. He threw 35 touchdown passes, rushed for 10 touchdowns, and also won the 2015 AP Most Valuable Player of the Year award leading the Carolina Panthers to an NFL best 15-1 regular season.
