The Spanish Autovía A-21 is a proposed highway between Jaca, in Aragon, and Pamplona, in Navarre.

It follows or is an upgrade of the N-240 and will link the Autovía A-15 east of Pamplona with the Autovía A-23 at Jaca providing a link through the southern Pyrenees and the pass from France to Zaragoza.

Phases

There is a great difference in the percentage of completion between the Navarre Region and the Aragon Region. Navarre has completed its sections while only two out of the eight sections in Aragon (totalling 8.3 km) are open. Two more sections (13 km) are in progress in Aragon but works has been suspended on two sections (10 km) and has not even started on two others (18.2 km).
