section on origin

This section is too long and sounds more definitive than it should be. Seek clarification: Did Shri Gajanan Maharaj travel to Nasik in 1887 (after he came to Shegaon in 1878)? is the question about his origin settled? I do not think so. Every devotee is entitled to hold their opinion because the question is not settled. That does not change anyone'e devotion to the saint.Tkul (talk) 20:56, 23 November 2016 (UTC)tkul[reply]

The word samadhi needs to be linked to the relevent article on this website. Also, need to distinguish this from the samadhi that some other saints took.Tkul A lot has been added to this article about early days of Shri Gajanan maharaj without citing the references. Gajanan Maharaj never spoke a word during his life time, His so called divine power is based on assumption that he has performed the so called miracles detailed in the Pothis. Gajanan Sansthan is doing a good work but no doubt there was nothing divine about Gajanan maharaj. He has not done any work comparable with the revered saints like Saint Dnyaneshwar, Saint Tukaram & various others. There are claims that he had met Lokmanya Tilak but this has not been historically proven. Although we still see painting of Gajanan Maharaj with Lokmanya Tilak at the temple in shegaon.
