Lynne Naylor is a Canadian animator, artist, director, producer, and voice actress.
Naylor is best known as co-founding Spümcø alongside John Kricfalusi, Bob Camp, and Jim Smith as well as co-developing The Ren & Stimpy Show for Nickelodeon. Another best-known piece of work she took part in was Monsters vs. Aliens, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, & Star Wars: Clone Wars.[1]
Career
Naylor co-founded Spumco[2] and was involved in the development of Ren & Stimpy. Ren & Stimpy was criticized for violence with adult, bathroom, dark, and sexual humor that TV scarcely uses, it was also praised by some critics and audiences and inspired more innovative satirical cartoons such as Beavis and Butt-head, Rocko's Modern Life, South Park, Family Guy and SpongeBob SquarePants. She also produced and directed the film Hercules and Xena - The Animated Movie: The Battle for Mount Olympus, and wrote and storyboarded episodes for The Powerpuff Girls. In 2007, she co-created and developed a pilot for Nickelodeon called The Modifyers alongside Chris Reccardi, to whom she has been married to since 1994.
