Would winning the ASG be an honor? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.1.130.149 (talk) 00:54, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

NO, I do not think his winning decision during the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Game needs to be noted in his notable achievements/honors. Back many years ago when pitchers would pitch almost the whole game then that could be noted as an honer because they pitched most of the game earning the victory for his team. Sale only pitched two innings and in an actual Major League game a pitcher must pitch at least 5 innings to be eligible for the win. I feel that it is fine how it is now that their is a mention on the page that he was the winning pitcher during the game but it doesn't need to highlighted as a major honor. A good question though. "The Condor"? Really? Can we get a better reference for this, because I have never heard of him being called that. Tad Lincoln (talk) 22:48, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
