Badaracco

I have deleted the bit at the bottom about the Joseph Badaracco work because it was unformatted, comically out of place, and doesn't seem wholly relevant. I'm pasting it here so that whoever contributed it can do what he or she wishes with it: "I Come As A Thief is referenced by Joseph Badaracco of the Harvard Business School in his most recent work, Questions of Character: Illuminating the Heart of Leadership Through Literature (Boston: Harvard Business School Press, 2006): The protagonist in I Come as a Thief serves as an illustration of how the "flow of success" is a path of self destruction. —13:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)24.63.41.236"

Where possible, I have added/rectified and amplified previously existing information, in these changes mostly from Who’s Who in America 2002.CWO (talk) 21:07, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rather sounds like an idle insertion by some undergrad who was assigned to read the Badaracco book for class. --Michael K SmithTalk 19:05, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yale

Auchincloss did not graduate from Yale (as cited in the article), so I don't think he should be listed as "alumni" Also, I believe he should be listed as Americans of Scottish descent as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mywikieditor2007 (talkcontribs) 14:15, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bovee, not St Bernard

Auchincloss attended the Bovee School, NOT St Bernard's, as is made clear in his autobiography A Writer's Capital as well as in Carol Gelderman's biography, where an account of his struggle with his mother in order to stay at Bovee and not be transferred to St Bernard is given at length.
