Flatliners is an upcoming 2017 American science fiction horror drama film directed by Niels Arden Oplev and written by Ben Ripley. The film is a sequel to the 1990 film of the same name, and stars Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, Kiersey Clemons, and Kiefer Sutherland. Screen Gems will release the film on September 29, 2017, 27 years after the release of the original film.

Plot

Courtney (Ellen Page) and Ray (Diego Luna) and Marlo (Nina Dobrev) and Jamie (James Norton) and Sophia (Kiersey Clemons) and Nelson (Kiefer Sutherland) are on there Request to go to the meeting and find the Hitman and kill them and then they have the Jamie Mafia Family and then they kill them and meet the Mafia Soldiers Brad (Beau Murchoff) and Sam (Steve Byers) are in a meeting and then they have a group of Hitman where they killed them and Courtney kills them to escape. At the helicopter landing pad Courntey and Ray and Marlo and Jamie and Sophia and Nelson have a group meeting and then they are being spoken with and then they head over to there house for a call on the phone. At the call meeting Courtney and Ray get a call from Jamie to meet up and then they do and then they tell them where are my people and I want to see them and then they decline on the cellphone. At the meeting Courtney has the Jamie Mafia Families with them and then they fight them with Ray and take there weapons from them and then they head over to the place.

At the Place Courtney and Ray and Marlo and Jamie and Sophia are in a meeting about the talk and then then they talk about the humanities. At the Ship Courtney and Ray and Marlo and Jamie and Sophia are on a boat and they talk to there Boss Lane (Tyler Hynes) about the rules not to be flatlined as they are reading the book and then they conclude the book and leave the meeting. At Ray's house Courtney talks to Ray and Jamie and Haley (Daniela Barbosa) have the talk and leaves and heads with Marlo to the plane and then they meet the bad guy Dean's Secretary (Richard Young) and then they get onto the boat and to the island where there Meeting. At the island Courtney and Marlo both meet Teesa and the medical student and Alicia and the Medical Faculty and Irina Wong and the Radiologist and Alex about the island secretary and then Courtney and Marlo talk and then they have Dean's Gangsters and then they fight together and the others leave and then Courtney kills and flatlined the Gangsters led by Dean and then finds the Burly Man and then he has a gun and Courtney kills him and then he finds Dean's Secretary and then throws him in the water and swims to the boat and then they kill the Gangsters that belong to Dean and then leaves the island.

At the Place Courtney and Marlo find the Goons and then Courtney kills them and fights them and then kills the Goons. In the Attack Fight Courtney and Marlo finds the Goons and the Marshalls and the Control Soldiers and kills them and goes to there way in. In the Gates Courtney and Marlo find there way through and then they kill the Goons and the marshalls and the Control Soldiers and blows up there Car and then goes through it and then kills the Control Soldiers and the Hitman and the Jamie Crime Mafia and then goes through. In a gunfight Courtney and Marlo finds Cryus Gudgeon and the soldiers and the hitmen and the Goons and kills them and kills Cyrus Gusgeon and finds Jamie a friend and kills the Hitman and the goons and the Jamie Crime Mafia to escape.

Courtney and Jamie walks through and they find the Control Soldiers and the hitmen and then kills them and enters the store and find some the register clerk and buys something. In the parking lot Courtney and Jamie fights the Goons and the Jamie Crime Mafia and the Soldiers. In a car chase Courtney and Jamie has Assassins and then they kill them And rescue Marlo and the Comatose Patient and the Chemistry teacher and the second medical student. In a happy hour Courtney and Marlo and Jamie go to a sale and then they find the Control Officers and the Control guards and kills them and escapes.

At the premier Courtney and Marlo find the Control Soldiers and beats them to DEAth and then goes to the alleyway. In the alleyway Courtney and Marlo has Pilots and fights them and flatlined and kills them and escapes. In a Truck chase Courtney and Marlo jump up to the Jamie Mafia Families and the soldiers with Jamie and fights them and kills there Mafias and steals there stash. At the Docks Courtney and Marlo and Jamie Stop and finds the soldiers and beats them to death and throws them in the ocean where they were killed and leaves.

In the Engineer department of the Dead Courtney and Marlo go inside to find the guards and then he stops and then kills them and takes a weapon and kills the guards and goes outside. In the final scene Courtney and Marlo are at Dean's Secretary's house and then they find him and his soldiers and the Jamie Mafia Family and the Control guards and then Courtney and Marlo get out there gun and then they kill the soldiers and the guards and the Jamie Mafia Family and Marlo kills the soldiers behind him and then he shoots Dean's Secretary with a weapon who was bad and then he takes his weapon and then shoot some his guards and then shoots Dean's Secretary and flatlines him and returns to Marlo. In the Ending scene At the Boatyard Courntey and Marlo and Jamie returns to Sophia and Nelson and then they talk to there boss and accept him a Goodbye and the boss leaves and then Courtney and Marlo and Jamie and Sophia and Nelson leave the ferry boat and then they get in there car and then they drive to there safe house and then they sleep at there safe house and then they watch Tv downstairs all day in the morning and afternoon and night and they relax and have a Adult conversation at the table.

Cast

Production

In October 2015, Ellen Page was cast in the reboot film for an unspecified role.[6] In February 2016, Diego Luna was added to the cast,[7] following him Nina Dobrev also joined the film in April.[8] In May 2016, Kiersey Clemons and James Norton signed on for the film.[9][10]

In July 2016, it was announced that Kiefer Sutherland, who starred in the original film, would be returning for the reboot.[11] Sutherland later disclosed that he was reprising his role from the original film, revealing that the new film would actually be a sequel rather than a remake.[3] In July 2016, Charlotte McKinney had joined the cast.[12]

Principal photography on the film began in early-July 2016 in Toronto[13][14] and concluded on September 7, 2016. The film went into post-production on the 4th of October ahead of the September 2017 release.[15]

Release

Screen Gems will release the film on September 29, 2017.[16]
