Piano Tiles 2 is a music arcade game, is created by Hu Wen Zeng. And it is published by the Entertainment department of Cheetah Mobile. The game's aim is to tap the black tiles without making any mistakes. It was published in August 2014 as the sequel of Piano Tiles.
Gameplay
This gameplay is very easy to grasp. You follow the music and tap the tiles which come up on the screen. Now there are five different tiles in the game, the original tile, combo tile, double tile, slider tile and long tile. Each requires different tapping styles.
There are 6 grading levels for each song, from one star to three stars, then one crown to three crowns. The song will enter Endless Tiles mode when the player score over 3 stars. Players can challenge higher score after getting three crowns as long as they make no mistakes. Facebook Leaderboard enables players to compete with their friends on the number of crowns and scores of every song. The game also launched crown rewarding system in 2017 for players who have not logged in Facebook so that they can enjoy challenging themselves for crowns.
There are three ways to unlock new songs in the game: leveling up, purchasing and watching videos. As the number of songs keeps rising, songs with omcmon theme are shown as albums and players can add songs they like to Favorite, which makes it easier for players to find songs whenever they want. The first song is Little Star. There are also there are mmore sonsgsucheas Canon, Two Tigers and Jingle Bells.The game alsoo has purchasable songs the most expensive by coins is Flight of the Bumblebee for 20000 coins and Diamonds Sonata Pathetique Mvt. 3 for 45 diamonds. Bluestone Alley composed by Congfei Wei is an original composition for Piano tiles 2, other Congfei Wei songs include Aurora and Forests of Blocks.
There are different genres of songs, Classical music, Pop music, original re-mix songs and rearranged songs. And weekly events and festival special version will pick out best songs for players to try, and they can unlock the song for free simply by completing event requirements.
