In Another World With My Smartphone (異世界はスマートフォンとともに, Isekai wa Sumātofon to Tomo ni) is a Japanese web novel series written by Patora Fuyuhara and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. J-Novel Club has licensed the series for an English release, releasing each novels in six weekly parts since February 2017. A manga adaptation by Soto began its serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace in November 2016. An anime television series adaptation by Production Reed aired from July to September 2017.

Plot

15-year-old Touya Mochizuki is accidentally struck by lightning and killed by God. As an apology, God allows him to be reborn into a fantasy world along with a single special request. Touya uses his request in order to bring his Smartphone into the new world with him. God also amplifies Touya's physical, magical, and mental prowess to a certain degree as a further apology for the inconvenience of killing him. Taking full advantage of his second chance at life, Touya befriends many different people in the new world. He begins to travel from country to country, solving political disputes, minor quests, and nonchalantly enjoying himself with his newfound allies.

Characters

Duchy of Brunhild

Touya Mochizuki (望月冬夜, Mochizuki Tōya)

A fifteen-year-old from Earth, reborn by God into the other world as a way of apology for the latter's mistake of killing him. His smartphone is his only remaining connection to Earth; while he can no longer call upon anyone from his old life, he can still access the Internet, and the battery can be recharged with magical energy. He is bestowed with Null magic, the attribute of all elements. He also has inexhaustible supply of magic due to the fact that God revived him. He regularly gets mistaken to be from Eashen where Yae is from because Eashen is similar to Japan. After discovering the first Babylon "Aerial Garden" and having a mock conversation with Professor Regina Babylon, he sets out to find the rest of the Babylons in order to defeat the Fraze. According to Babylon's vision, Touya would have nine wives total. He forms pacts with all four of the Heavenly Beasts. He also becomes king of the Duchy of Brunhild after helping to smooth out relations between the Regulus Empire and Belfast Kingdom. He often uses knowledge from his previous life to create products and earn lots of money. He is also the first silver rank adventure to appear in 18 years.
Fiancées
Elze Silhoueska (エルゼ・シルエスカ, Eruze Shiruesuka)

The elder sister of the Silhoueska twins, a pair of wandering adventurers, and with her natural impulsiveness a fighter by profession. She has long hair and flat chest. She can only use the non-attribute magic 'boost' which increases her physical abilities. She also likes spicy food, and seems to have a very high tolerance for it, to the point that she's not allowed in the kitchen because she adds to much spice. After a mock battle with Touya, she and Yae requested Touya to share their affections with him. She is Touya's third fiancée.
Linze Silhoueska (リンゼ・シルエスカ, Rinze Shiruesuka)

The younger sister of the Silhoueska twins, with her intelligence and natural talent. She is the magic specialist of the two sisters. She has short hair and big breasted. She can only use light, water, and fire attribute magic in which among the three fire is her strongest element followed by water and then lastly light. When Francesca registered Touya as her new master through his lips, Linze bravely confesses her love and kisses Touya in front of the girls. She is Touya's second fiancée.
Yae Kokonoe (九重八重, Kokonoe Yae)

She came from a samurai family and left to hone her skills elsewhere. But, when Touya arrived to a new town, he saw Yae being approached by a gang and managed to fight back. She decides to accompany Touya on his travels. After a mock battle with Touya, she and Elze requested Touya to share their affections with him. She is Touya's fourth fiancée.
Yumina Urnea Belfast (ユミナ・エルネア・ベルファスト, Yumina Erunea Berufasuto)

She is the Crown Princess of Belfast. Yumina's "Mystic Eyes" ability comes from her Heterochormia Eyes which give her the ability to see a person's true nature. When Touya cured her father from being poisoned, she asks to be engaged with him. She possesses magic attributes of wind, earth, and darkness and is also proficient with bows and arrows. After visiting the Aerial Garden, Yumina proposed to everyone that Linze, Elze, and Yae would be engaged to him. She is Touya's first fiancée.
Sushie Urnea Ortlinde (スゥシィ・エルネア・オルトリンデ, Sūshī Erunea Orutorinde)

She is the daughter of the duke and duchess of Belfast. She likes her friends to call her Sue (スゥ, ). She was once, the subject of the first prince of Rynie, as his fiancée, but is later rescued. She becomes Touya's sixth fiancée.
Leen (リーン, Rīn)
Voiced by: Sumire Uesaka[1] (Japanese); Monica Rial[3] (English)
She is the head of the Fairy Tribe and an ambassador from Mismede and capable of using the Null spell "Program", which can make objects move. Over the span of 200 years, she has managed to make a teddy bear she named Paula able to interact with humans, though it has yet to gain the capability to speak. She possesses all attributes except for darkness, though she can not use as many non-attribute spells as Touya can. Nonetheless, she is considered a genius in magic. She is the one to start Touya on the quest for finding the Babylons as she wants to gain knowledge from the "Library" Babylon. She becomes Touya's eight fiancée.
Lucia Leah Regulus (ルーシア・レア・レグルス, Rūshia Rea Regurusu)
She is the third imperial princess of Regulus Empire. During the events of the Regulus Empire army coup d'etat was saved by Touya and fell in love with him. She user of a pair of swords and combines the styles of both Touya and Yae, though she is mainly self-taught. She is on very good terms with Yumina, as a fellow princess of the same age. She has a talent at cooking. She becomes Touya's fifth fiancée.
Hildegard Minas Restia (ヒルデガルド・ミナス・レスティア, Hirudegarudo Minasu Resutia)
She is a Knight Princess of the Restia Knight Kingdom. Touya and co. first meet her when she is fighting a large group of Fraze in a village in Restia. Touya rescues her and her Knight Order and she falls in love with him. Afterwards, she travels to Brunhild with her grandfather, the previous king of Restia, to declare her love and is surprised to find that Touya already has six fiancée with two them being princesses. Her grandfather also learns this and declares that Hilda can only become Touya's fiancée if he beats him. Originally, he only has a 10 percent chance of beating him, but Touya projects the picture of a women wearing a swimsuit who is walking around in the background making her grandfather lose focus of himself and subsequently the match. Hilda becomes Touya's seventh fiancée.
Sakura (, Sakura)
She was picked up by Touya deep in Eashen mountains when she was on a verge of death. She seems to have lost all memory of her past. She has light pink-colored hair and violet-colored pupils, thus she was give Sakura (meaning cherry blossom) as given a temporary name by Touya. She does not express emotions much on her face, but is seen smiling when she is singing, which she excels at, even when in front of the rest of the residents of the Brunhild Castle. She has a very good memory, to the point that she only needs to hear things once in order for her to memorize it, ironic considering the fact that she lost her memories. She becomes Touya's ninth and final fiancée.
Contracted Beasts
Kohaku (琥珀, Kohaku)

A white tiger with black stripes who is one of the four Heavenly Beasts, previously known as the White Monarch. It can change into a smaller form of itself and is the first of the four Heavenly beasts to make a pact with Touya. She has a strange feud with Ruri. (Her name means amber.)
Kokuyou (黒曜, Kokuyō) and Sango (珊瑚, Sango)
Voiced by: Issei Futamata (Kokuyou), Naoko Matsui (Sango)
One of four Heavenly Beast that takes a form of a land tortoise with a black snake wrapped around it, previously known as the Black Monarch. They can use a spell that lets a person function underwater. They are the second Heavenly Beast that forms a pact with Touya. (The snake is Kokuyou, his name meaning obsidian, and the turtle is Sango, her name meaning coral.)
Kougyuku (紅玉, Kōgyoku)
One of the four Heavenly Beasts that takes the form of a phoenix, previously known as the Flame Monarch. She is the king of birds. Though she has a calm character, on the outside she looks flashy. She is the third Heavenly Beast that forms a pact with Touya. (Her name means ruby.)
Ruli (瑠璃, Ruri)
One of the four Heavenly Beasts that takes the form of a blue dragon, previously known as the Green Monarch. She is the king of dragons. She has a some sort of feud with Kohaku. She is the fourth Heavenly Beast that forms a pact with Touya. (Her name means lapis lazuli.)
Servants
Laim (ライム, Raimu)
Voiced by: Tomomichi Nishimura[4]
He is the butler of Mochizuki household who introduces himself after Touya accepts the noble title of Viscount. His original duty was looking after His Majesty The King of Belfast, but he retires. Later, upon finding out that Touya saved his little brother Reim-san, the butler of Ortlinde household, he decides to serve Touya instead, inviting with him some of his acquaintances. He is mentioned several times as a perfect butler, as he seems to always know what to do and has great leadership among Touya's servants.
Lapis (ラピス, Rapisu)
Voiced by: Himika Akaneya
She is the first maid to be introduced along with Laim. She is a truly diligent maid licensed by a Belfast maid guild. She is later discovered to also be a member of secret intelligence unit [Espion] from Belfast along with Cecile. Like Laim, she is also a first-class maid.
Cecile (セシル, Seshiru)
Voiced by: Madoka Yonezawa
She is the second maid to be introduced along with Laim. She is also a first-class maid licensed by the same Belfast maid guild as Lapis. She, like Lapis, was discovered to be a member of secret intelligence unit [Espion] from Belfast. She excels at throwing knives, as seen when she throws one into a berserk dragon on Touya's tip to Mismede. She is known to have enormous breasts, as mentioned when Hilda and her grandfather visit Brunhild.
Renne (レネ, Rene)
Voiced by: Yoshino Aoyama
A young orphan girl who lived in poverty before meeting Touya. She becomes a housekeeper/maid of the Mochizuki Residence. She turns out to be a descendant of one of the nobles of the Regulus Empire.
Julio (フリオ, Hurio)
He is a gardener of Mochizuki household. Later becomes an exclusive gardener to the Brunhild royal palace. The husband of Crea.
Crea (クレア, Kurea)
A cook of Mochizuki household. Later becomes the chief cook of the Brunhild royal palace. She reproduces various cuisine Based on Touya’s knowledge. A wife of Julio.
Thomas (トマス, Tomasu)
Gatekeeper of Mochizuki household. Former Kingdom Heavy Infantryman. Currently, he guards the Belfast embassy of Duchy of Brunhild.
Huck (ハック, Hakku)
Gatekeeper of Mochizuki household. Former Kingdom Light Cavalryman. Currently, he guards the Belfast embassy of Duchy of Brunhild.
Babylon Managers
Francesca (フランシェスカ, Furanshesuka)

She is a 5000-year old terminal Android tasked by Professor Regina Babylon to manage the Aerial Garden of Babylon. After meeting Touya she registers him as her master by kissing him in front of all the girls causing them to be jealous. She has a perverted side to her personality, prefers to be called Cesca and wears maid clothes. She is frame number 23.
High Rosetta (ハイロゼッタ, Hai Rosetta)
She is the manager of the Babylon Workshop. She prefers to be called Rosetta. She wears work clothes. She is frame number 27. She is the contractor of Babylon development.
Bell Flora (ベルフローラ, Beru Furōra)
She is the manager of the Alchemy Lab of Babylon. She prefers to be called Flora. She wears nurse clothes. She is frame number 21. She is a nurse with huge breasts.
Fred Monica (フレドモニカ, Furedo Monika)
She is the manager of the Hangar of Babylon. She prefers to be called Monica. She wears camouflage clothes. She is frame number 28. She is a sarcastic chibikko.
Brunhild Knight Order/ Crystal Knight Order
It was originally named after the Duchy of Brunhild. The name later changes due to the fact that their armor is made out of the crystal-like mithril.
Lain (レイン, Rein)
She is a rabbit therianthrope and former short redhead soldier of Mismede. Touya originally thought that Lain was a guy, but soon learns that she is a girl after Leen tells him. She is the one that becomes the Commander of the Brunhild Knight Order.
Norn (ノルン, Norun)
She is a wolf therianthrope and younger sister of Garm, a guard commanding officer of Mismede. She former soldier of Mismede, and a user of a pair of swords, much like her older brother. She doesn’t mind small details and has a composed personality. She becomes one of two Vice-Commander of the Brunhild Knight Order along with Nikola.
Nikola Strand (ニコラ・ストランド, Nikora Sutorando)
He is a fox therianthrope and a former soldier of Mismede. He is also a nephew of Olba Strand, a trade merchant from Mismede, and is therefore a male cousin to Olga and Arma. He has a very diligent personality, strict to himself as well as to other people. He becomes a Vice-Commander of the Brunhild Knight Order along with Norn.
Rebecca (レベッカ, Rebekka)
She is a female adventurer that was rescued in Rabbi desert. She has brown skin and ash-colored hair and talks in a boyish manner. She later enrolls into the Brunhild Knight Order with Logan.
Logan (ローガン, Rōgan)
He is a male adventurer that was rescued in Rabbi Desert. His choice of weapon is the war axe. He later enrolls into the Brunhild Knight Order with Rebecca.
Laqshe (ラクシェ, Rakushe)
She is one of five demonkin knights belonging to the Brunhild Knight Order and of the Alraune race, a plant type demonkin. During her off-duty days, she often helps with field work.
Zamuza (ザムザ, Zamuza)
He is one of five demonkin knights belonging to the Brunhild Knight Order and of the Ogre race. He has a reddish brown skin, is nearly 3 meters tall, has large build, and has 2 growing horns from his forehead. A strong man with gentle character.
Other
Ripple (リプル, Ripuru)
It is a magical being in the form of a picture frame, which was created by Regina Babylon and stored in the Storehouse of Babylon until an accident caused it and other artifacts to fall to the ground. When a portrait is placed in the frame it becomes capable of magic, including projecting a ghost-like image of the subject and moving objects with telekinesis. It named itself after the derelict Ripple Castle where it hung for many years. The castle had been abandoned since Ripple accidentally caused the deaths of multiple owners and until, Touya arrived, it had been pretending to be a vengeful spirit to scare away vandals. Touya uses the castle as material to build his own in Brunhild, and moves Ripple there with a new painting of a teenage girl in a white dress.

Belfast Kingdom

Alfred Urnes Ortlinde (アルフレッド・エルネス・オルトリンデ, Arufureddo Erunesu Orutorinde)
Voiced by: Taiten Kusunoki[4] (Japanese); Christopher R. Sabat[2] (English)
He is a duke, Sushie's Father, and younger brother to the current king of Belfast. He has an abundant curiosity and loves new things. Because of this, he becomes addicted to shogi and bicycles.
Ellen Urnea Ortlinde (エレン・エルネア・オルトリンデ, Eren Erunea Orutorinde)
Voiced by: Asami Yano (Japanese); Tia Ballard[2] (English)
He is the duke's wife and Sushie's mother. She is first mentioned as a very gentle and beautiful person. She had an injury which made it impossible for her to see, however, Touya learns the spell [Recovery] and cures her of her blindness.
Trystwyn Urnes Belfast (トリストウィン・エルネス・ベルファスト, Torisutouin Erunesu Berufasuto)
Voiced by: Jôji Nakata (Japanese); David Wald[2] (English)
He is the present king of Belfast Kingdom and father of Yumina. He was saved by Touya from an assassination attempt on his life through poisoning. He makes a good king, however, he possesses a contradicting flexibility and strictness. Much like the duke, his younger brother, he loves new things. Though he was aiming at making Touya the next king and comfortably retiring, for the sake of born Prince Yamato, Yumina's baby brother, he decides to try his best for a while some more.
Yuel Urnea Belfast (ユエル・エルネア・ベルファスト, Yūeru Erunea Berufasuto)
Voiced by: Yumi Kakazu (Japanese); Morgan Garrett[2] (English)
She is the queen of Belfast Kingdom and mother of Yumina. She encourages Yumina to win Touya's love and hand in marriage.
Yamato Urnes Belfast (ヤマト・エルネス・ベルファスト, Yamato Erunesu Berufasuto)
He is the First Prince of Belfast Kingdom and the younger brother of Yumina. He has just been born and was named by Touya. His godparent is Touya.
Charlotte (シャルロッテ, Sharurotte)
Voiced by: Yūki Kuwahara[4] (Japanese); Alexis Tipton[2] (English)
She is the royal court magician of Belfast Kingdom and tentatively the best magician in the kingdom. She is the type that can become completely absorbed in something and does not mind the surroundings. After receiving translation glasses from Touya, she changed her class into glass magician. She is the disciple of Leen and often the victim to her master's teasing and "punishment".
Leon Blitz (レオン・ブリッツ, Reon Burittsu)
Voiced by: Hiroki Yasumoto[4]
He is a general serving the Belfast Royal Family who preserved the crime scene (dinner party where the king was poisoned), allowing Touya to solve the case by pointing out the exact culprit and method of what poisoned the King of Belfast, therefore removing blame from the accused Olga. Due to his hearty personality, he has a habit of strongly clapping on the backs of people. He is a melee fighter and is also known as [Flame Fist Leon].
Lyon Blitz (リオン・ブリッツ, Rion Burittsu)
Voiced by: Sōma Saitō
He is the second son of General Leon and belongs to first knight order of the kingdom. He is a very diligent person and does not resemble his father. He has decided to marry Olga who was an ambassador of Mismede.
Neil Suleiman (ニール・スレイマン, Nīru Sureiman)
He is the Vice-Commander of Belfast Knight Order. He receives weapons enchanted with magic from Touya.
Leim (レイム, Reimu)
Voiced by: Tomomichi Nishimura[4] (Japanese); Ben Phillips[2] (English)
He is the head butler of the Ortlinde household. His life was saved by Touya and has served the royal family for generations with his older brother, Laim.
Doctor Raul (ラウル医師, Rauru Ishi)
He is the exclusive doctor of the royal family and doesn't appear much.
Carlossa Galune Swordrick (カルロッサ・ガルン・ソードレック, Karurossa Garun Sōdorekku)
He is a viscount of Belfast Kingdom and a disciple of Kokonoe Juubei, Yae’s father. He is an expert swordsman.
Earl Balsa (バルサ伯爵, Barusa Hakushaku)
Voiced by: Kōji Ishii (Japanese); Chris Guerrero[2] (English)
He is a noble who dislikes demi-humans and schemed the king assassination plot. He resembles a toad and lost his standing upon being exposed by Touya.
Prim (プリム, Purimu)
She is a receptionist from the Guild in Belfast Royal Capital and a regular customer to the reading café Moon Reader. She really likes BL.
Micah (ミカ, Mika)
Voiced by: Sayuri Hara[4] (Japanese); Caitlin Glass[2] (English)
The young landlady of the Silver Moon Inn where Touya rented a room after first arriving in the world.
Aer (アエル, Aeru)

She works at the café Parent in Reflet.

Kingdom of Mismede

Jamukha Blau Mismede (ジャムカ・ブラウ・ミスミド, Jamuka Burau Misumido)
Voiced by: Tetsu Inada
Jamukha is the current ruler of the Mismede Kingdom and a snow leopard demi-human. He likes to challenge any strong opponent he comes across and is a battle enthusiast. He is a user of non-attribute magic [Accel].
Thillie Frau Mismede (ティリエ・フラウ・ミスミド, Tirie Furau Misumido)
She is the Queen of the Mismede Kingdom and a snow leopard demi-human.
Thea Frau Mismede (ティア・フラウ・ミスミド, Tia Furau Misumido)
She is the first princess of the Mismede Kingdom and a snow leopard demi-human. Got a stuffed toy during bingo tournament.
Remza Blau Mismede (レムザ・ブラウ・ミスミド, Remuza Burau Misumido)
He is the first prince of the Mismede Kingdom and a snow leopard demi-human.
Alba Blau Mismede (アルバ・ブラウ・ミスミド, Aruba Burau Misumido)
He is the second prince of the Mismede Kingdom and a snow leopard demi-human.
Graz (グラーツ, Gurātsu)

He is the Prime Minister of Mismede Kingdom and is often thrown around at the whims of his king. He is very wise man and a winged demi-human.
Olga Strand (オリガ・ストランド, Origa Sutorando)
Voiced by: Kikuko Inoue[4] (Japanese); Amber Lee Connors[2] (English)
She is a fox demi-human ambassador from the Kingdom of Mismede and Arma's older sister. Olga was accused of poisoning the King of Belfast, before being proven innocent by Touya. She was unaware of Lyon's feelings for her, which she later accepts, and later becomes his fiancée.
Arma Strand (アルマ・ストランド, Aruma Sutorando)
Voiced by: Honoka Inoue[4] (Japanese); Bryn Apprill[2] (English)
She is a fox demi-human from the Kingdom of Mismede and Olga's younger sister. She is on good terms with Yumina, as they are the same age.
Olba Strand (オルバ・ストランド, Oruba Sutorando)
He is the father to Olga and Arma and a capable commerce trader in Mismede. He is thriving with Touya’s ideas but mass-producing them and selling them in exchange for Frame Gear materials. He often appears at unexpected times and places.
Garm (ガルン, Garun)
He is a wolf demi-human and commander of guard soldiers of Mismede. He uses a pair of swords and is the elder brother of Norn, Vice-Commander of the Brunhild Knight Order.
Solum (ソルム, Surumu)
He is the head of Eld village, which was attacked by a black dragon when Touya were passing by on their way to Mismede.

Refreese Imperium

Rig Reek Refreese (リグ・リーク・リーフリース, Rigu Rīku Rīfurīsu)
He is the Monarch of the Refreese Imperium. He has a shaved head and an easygoing character.
Zelda Rehm Refreese (ゼルダ・リーム・リーフリース, Zeruda Rīmu Rīfurīsu)
She is the queen of the the Refreese Imperium.
Reliel Rehm Refreese (リリエル・リーム・リーフリース, Ririeru Rīmu Rīfurīsu)
She is the first princess of the Refreese Imperium and a writer of BL novels under the pen name of Riel Rifrese. Her work as a writer is hidden from parents. She has a very airhead-like, daydreamy character.
Redis Refreese (リディス・リーク・リーフリース, Ridisu Rīku Rīfurīsu)
He is the Crown Prince of the Refreese Imperium and very mature boy.
Joseph (ジョセフ, Josefu)
He is the uncle and adoptive father to Elsie and Lindsey, live in the town named Colet on the outskirts of Refreese. He is the manager of a plantation. He is terribly frightened of nobles and their likes, apparently, because of some trauma before the series some trauma.
Rana (ラナ, Rana)
She is the wife of Joseph and a very gutsy-type mother.
Emma (エマ, Ema)
She is the eldest daughter of Joseph and Elsie and Lindsey’s cousin. She is like an elder sister to both of them.
Aaron (アロン, Aron)
He is the eldest son of Joseph and has already left to another town.
Shiina (シーナ, Shīna)
She is the second daughter of Joseph.
Allen (アレン, Aren)
He is the second son of Joseph.
Clara/Kirara (クララ・キララ, Kurara Kirara)
They are the third and fourth twin daughters of Joseph.

Zephyrus Loah Regulus (ゼフィルス・ロア・レグルス, Zefirusu Roa Regurusu)
He is the Emperor of Regulus Empire and was saved by Touya from dying during coup d’etat. Though he was suffering due to an illness, he recovers thanks to [Recovery].
Lux Loah Regulus (ルクス・ロア・レグルス, Rukusu Roa Regurusu)
He is the crown prince of Regulus Empire and has no particularly special trait.
Sarah Leah Regulus (サラ・レア・レグルス, Sara Rea Regurusu)
She is the crown princess of Regulus Empire.
Caroline Rillettes (キャロライン・リエット, Kyarorain Rietto)
She is a member of third knight order of the empire, a knight of the second class. She is also known as Carol. She uses a pair of swords and is a descendant of Kir Rillettes of Twin Swords, one of the twelve sword’s households of the empire. She happens to be Renne’s aunt.
Gaspar (ガスパル, Gasuparu)
He is the black haired, one-eyed commander of the knight order of the empire. He received Flame Spear during the bingo tournament in Brunhild.
General Bazoar (バズール将軍, Bazūru Shōgun)
He is the one responsible for starting the coup d'etat by the army against the empire. He possessed the Drainbracer and Blockbracer, artifacts created by Babylon, and operated an army of demons but was defeated by Touya.
General Romero (ロメロ将軍, Romero Shōgun)
He is the commander of the western army of the empire and sheltered the crown prince during the time of the coup d'etat.

Ramissh Theocracy

Elias Altra (エリアス・オルトラ, Eriasu orutora)
She is the female Pope of the Ramissh Theocracy. She is the owner of a pair of heterochromic blue and green magic eyes capable of seeing the truth and falsehood, much like Yumina. She was saved by Touya, and enlightened during her meeting with God.
Phyllis Rugit (フィリス・ルギット, Firisu Rugitto)
A priest sent to Brunhild from the holy kingdom. After meeting with God, she was about to be executed as a result of her calling upon the discrepancies of Ramissh’s doctrine, but she was saved by Touya. She becomes a Cardinal after the Ramissh Religion changes.
Cardinal Zeon (ゼオン枢機卿, Zeon Sūkikyō)
He looks like a dictator with his small mustache, swept back black hair, and self-important air. He trapped the pope by using the speech uttered by Phyllis as a pretext.
Cardinal Kyurei (キュレイ枢機卿, Kyurei Sūkikyō)
She is the elder sister of cardinal Zeon pretended to be the pop in Elias's place. She was aiming at the position of the pope together with her younger brother Zeon.
Nesto Renaud (ネスト・レナード, Nesuto Renādo)
He was a priest sent to Brunhild from the holy kingdom and was driven out by Touya due to his high-handed attitude. It is also noted that he wears a wig.

Eashen, Country of the Gods

Jubei Kokonoe (九重重兵衛, Jūbee Kokonoe)
Voiced by: Takaya Kuroda
He is Yae’s father and the master of the Kokonoe Shinmei-style Swordfighting Dojo, Koyoukan. During his youth, he served the father of the viscount Swordrick. Currently, he is a sword instructor to Tokugawa household.
Nanae Kokonoe (九重七重, Kokonoe Nanae)
Voiced by: Sayaka Ohara
She is Yae’s mother. Like Jubei, she also served the Swordrick household during her youth.
Jutaro Kokonoe (九重重太郎, Kokonoe Jūtarou)
Voiced by: Yūki Inoue
He is Yae’s beloved elder brother. Although he is gentle youth, he loves swordsmanship more than anything else to the point of skipping out on meals and sleep.
Ayane (綾音, Ayane)
Voiced by: Yui Odagiri
She is a young maid serving the Kokonoe family. There are good vibes between her and Jutarou.
Kansukay Yamamoto (山本完助, Yamamoto Kansuke)
Voiced by: Kenjiro Tsuda
He is a shady strategist working from the shadow of Takeda thanks to the Jewel of Immortality. He was defeated by Touya’s group.
Ieyahsu Tokugawa (徳川家泰, Tokugawa Ieyasu)
He is one of the nine feudal lords of Eashen. He has a small moustache and fine build.
Tsubaki (椿)
Voiced by: Yū Kobayashi
She was a [kunoichi] follower of Masanohbu Kousaka, one of four heavenly kings of Takeda. However, due to her master being replaced with a much poorer successor, she decides to leave with her clan. She heads to Brunhild and asks to allow her clan to stay there. Currently, she is a leader of the secret service of Brunhild.
Masanohbu Kousaka (高坂政信, Kousaka Masanobu)
He was one of the four heavenly kings of Takeda and considerably sharp and wise person. Currently, he is a prime minister of Brunhild.
Nohbuhara Baba (馬場信晴, Baba Nobuharu)
He was one of the four heavenly kings of Takeda. He looks like a stern old man with a giant beard. He has as a sharp tongue. Currently, he is an adviser to the knight order of Brunhild.
Masatoyoh Naito (内藤正豊, Naito Masatoyo)
He was one of the four heavenly kings of Takeda. He doesn't tend to stand out and has a gentle face. Currently, he is a chief of the agriculture and construction agency at Brunhild.
Massakage Yamagata (山県政景, Yamagata Masakage)
He was one of the four heavenly kings of Takeda. A sharp-eyed man covered all over with wounds. A battle fanatic. Currently, he is a battle instructor to the knight order of Brunhild.
Khatsuyohri Takeda (武田克頼, Takeda Katsuyori)
A new feudal lord of Takeda and considered very incompetent.

An elder man who is the God that reincarnated Touya into the other world after mistakenly killing him. God is currently the only person whom Touya can call with his smartphone.
Regina Babylon (レジーナ・バビロン, Rejīna Babiron)
Voiced by: Minako Kotobuki
She is Francesca's creator and the foremost genius of her time who created the gynoids, the Babylons, and the Frame Gears. She lived around 5000 years ago and was one of the citizen of the Ancient Civilization of Partheno. Regina is shown as a beautiful women in her twenties with long messy blond hair that extends to her waist while wearing a round glasses and smoking a cigarette in her mouth. She wears a slovenly worn jacket and skirt with a white laboratory coat on top of it. Despite being a genius she has a perverted side as well as seen when during her first met with Touya, she lifted her skirt and showed her favorite laced black panties.
God of Love (恋愛神, Ren'ai-shin)
Voiced by: Yui Horie
She is a goddess from the Divine Realm who controls romantic related matters. She appears as a woman in her twenties with fluffy pink hair. She is shown to be wearing fluffy white thin clothing with golden necklace and bracelet while barefooted. She is a mischievous person who likes to cause people troubles for her own amusement like when Touya walked in on the girls changing. She come to Duchy of Brunhild and pretending to be Touya's older sister Karen Mochizuki. At first, Touya refused her idea but after she persistently persuaded Touya to let her becoming his sister, Touya gave up and agreed to do so. That night, she received a warm welcome dinner from the other Duchy of Brunhild's residents.

Light Novels

The series began publication as a web novel, being serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website since April 8, 2013.[5] The series was later published as a light novel series by Hobby Japan's “HJ Novels” label beginning on May 22, 2015; nine volumes have been published as of June 22, 2017. The light novel features illustrations by Eiji Usatsuka. It was licensed for digital distribution in the English language by J-Novel Club,[6] and they have since released Volumes 1-4 in eBook format.

Anime

An anime adaptation directed by Takeyuki Yanase, written by Natsuko Takahashi, and animated by Production Reed has been announced[17] and aired from July 11[1] to September 26, 2017. AŌP performed the opening theme song "Another World" while Maaya Uchida, Yui Fukuo, Chinatsu Akatsuki, Marika Kōno, Nanami Yamashita, and Sumire Uesaka performed different versions of the ending theme song "Junjō Emotional" (純情エモーショナル, Pure Emotional).[1] Crunchyroll streamed the anime.[18] Funimation have licensed the series.[19]
