Villa Park, Illinois - Villa Park Pioneer

Hi you deleted my edit on Pioneer Garden and Feed. @Pegaah: Hi Greetings and thank you for adding the ISBN # in the page. I tried to search the ISBN #s on the next in various internet sites (English), yet I could not find the info for verification for I cant review it. Could you able to provide inline citation for the book/novel and insert next to the ISBN. It is ok if the web site is in other languages. Once the page is reviewed then you could find it in the search engine. For citing from the web - see WP:CITEWEB and its template - see Template: cite web. Thank you and have a good day. DEFAULTSORT plus ...

Hallo, I've just stubsorted a batch of South African politicians, and I see you added DEFAULTSORT to some as in this edit.

Do you know about {{subst:L}}? For hardly any more typing you can create the "Living person" and "Year of birth missing (living person)" categories (or other appropriate birth/death categories as appropriate) as well as the DEFAULTSORT.

{{subst:L|||Brown, Jane}} - living, birthdate unknown (note that there are TWO empty parameters)
{{subst:L|1952||Brown, Jane}} - living, born 1952
{{subst:L|missing|1935|Brown, Jane}} - dead, birth year missing
{{subst:L|1567|unknown|Brown, Jane}} - dead, death year unknown

etc. I use it all the time when stub-sorting, including over-typing "DEFAULTSORT" when it's already there as being less typing than adding these categories by hand. Might be worth giving it a go? PamD 09:20, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
