Alicia Fox you made a mistake

listen you made a mistake wwe announced that Alicia fox announced her participation at the womens royal rumble match its even on the royal rumble 2018 page Check IT OUT !
Icy1262 (talk) 12:40, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
@Icy1262:, You edit "On the January 15th Fox announced that she is entering the women's [[Royal Rumble (2018)] match" on Alicia Fox page was added without citing a source as merely mentioned "Fox announced" is not enough as no inline citation is found for verification. This does not mean there is no source out there to be cited. Please note content added or edited needs to directly support by reliable third party source for verification in Wikipedia and content added to Wikipedia without a source cited will be removed. You could add back the content if you would provide source with inline citation. Please read WP:Citing, WP:IC and WP:SOURCE for details info and hope this would help. Thank you. Jiangsu University -warning from You

For the question about JiangSu Unviversity I had added the hyperlink as requestedyesterday. What was that warning for? Please clarify.

I just made it clear about the meaning of Changfeng, a place name which could be meaningful to some people. not sure why was warned by Bot again. 21bbagi (talk) 10:14, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

By the way, could i ask if there are any standard procedure to revoke the warnings? Thank you. 21bbagi (talk) 10:24, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

@21bbagi: Greetings. Thank you for your questions above.
 1. Jiangsu University - message was given as you did not support your added content with source and you did after the message. So all is good now.
 2. Anhui Medical University- you added "The university is the Best Medical school in Anhui, although there is an emerging Medical school(Medical school of University of Science and Technology of China) is catching up since 2017" - that has no claimed in any source given as could be treated merely opinion. Content added/edited needs to be written in a neutral point of view (WP:NPOV) or statements about the truth of a theory must be based upon independent reliable sources for verification and not based on fringe theory WP:FRINGE.Pls read WP:SOURCE and WP:V for further details.
 3. Changfeng County - the warning message you got was from ClueBot NG which is a machine vandalism script. Reading your edit, I believe that was a false positive, as you merely translate "Changfeng (長豐) means "harvest forever" in Chinese", as the ClueBot might be mistaken from something else. You could report a false positive here, WP:FALSEPOS, stating (1) your username, (2) page/article you were editing, (3) description of your edit and (4) the date and time of the edit (you can find this on the history page of Changfeng County (look for your name). You could added these link for explaining the translation if you wish. [1] and [2] and hope they help. An admin will review your report and will action accordingly.
Finally, I have sent you a welcome message, I suggest you to take a look at the The Wikipedia Adventure for your benefit on contribution to Wikipedia. Once again Thank you for your contribution and have a good day. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 11:48, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

I am adding citation. I have requested some information from the subject (person) and approval to use copyright free material. (I have mentioned that in the Talk page of the Article). WDRezvani (talk) 17:42, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

Sam Groth serve

Sam Groth hit 100% of first serves in his doubles match paired with Lleyton Hewitt. Find: www.ausopen.org.au. Jonno64209 (talk) 13:58, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi Jonno64209, Greetings to you and thank you for the info above. Your edit "Sometimes plays with leyton . Often loses. Melbourne 2018 100% first serve percentage." on Sam Groth page was added without an inline citation for verification. This does not mean there is no source out there to be cited. Please note content added or edited needs to directly support by reliable third party source for verification in Wikipedia and content added to Wikipedia without a source cited will be removed. You have provided the the web site "www.ausopen.org.au", I think you meant "www.ausopen.org" as I would not find the web site you provided on the internet. You could add back the content if you would provide source with inline citation. Please read WP:Citing, WP:IC. WP:V and WP:SOURCE for details info and hope this would help.

I had been doing big chunks of editing all at once, so did not leave detailed notes. I have now edited one part of the article at a time leaving detailed notes as to why I have done each thing. Most of the relevant information is not lost, but rather consolidated under Other Activities. Other unsourced claims have been deleted. (Smellytap (talk) 4:04 am, Yesterday (UTC+8))

Vandalism in Crusades

Dear Cassiopeia: I have been editing Wikipedia on-and-off for years, but in lurking mode only, making only minor fixes like punctuation and grammar. Thus I know almost nothing about how vandals are handled, other than by reverting their edits. I'm writing to you b/c I saw that just a few hours ago you reverted an edit in Crusades made by unregistered editor 42.2.173.229. IMHO your comment to him/her on his/her Talk page was way too kind, as this editor had made other obviously vandalism edits to this same article that also had to be reverted. But perhaps that was your warning to him/her, before you report them on the Incident Noticeboard (which I only just now discovered).

So since you are apparently seasoned in Wikipedia and I am still so green, I'm appealing to you to advise me on what can be done to deal with obvious vandals like 42.2.173.229.

I really appreciate editors like you who give of their time and talent to keep Wikipedia a reliable resource. Martian (talk) 14:31, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

@Martian: Thank you for comment and write on my talk page. Every constructive editor in Wikipedia contribute in their own way, for you is good copy editing, others contribute content and fight vandalism, and some working on the behind the scenes work such as administration work, maintenance, software building program and etc. We all share one the same vision to reciprocal what the world has given to us by helping Wikipedia to provide free knowledge back.
Below are some info on how to counter vandalism in Wikipedia
 1. Vandalism guidelines - Familiar yourself to the Wikipedia guidelines of what is vandalism and what is NOT and what is a good faith edit or test edit vs bluntly vandalism - see here WP:VAN.
 2. Warning message and level - In normal cases once the editor reach level 4 warning, see warning templates here WP:WARN, then we could report the editor to Administrator intervention against vandalism - see here WP:AIV. However, in certain serious and prolific vandalism we could give Only warning message without going through the level.
 3. Vandalism Tools - Download the tools for counter vandalism. There are a few tools, and one of them is Twinkle (TW)- see here WP:TW. Twinkle allow you to set warning level and type of warning. Note messages from TW is auto generated; however, you could use you own word if you find the auto message from TW is not sufficiently explain what you intended to convey to the editor.
 4. Counter-Vandalism Unit/Academy - If you are really interested to know more and do counter vandalism volunteer work (at your own available time of course), you would sign up for Counter-Vandalism Unit/Academy - see here WP:CVUA and see which instructor is available to be your mentor. Just a note, the program does take up a lot of reading, exercises and time; however, you could pace yourself on how fast to progress through the course. It took me close to 2 months to get it done, but of course you could to it faster as it was in the year end holiday season when was in the program. However, I highly recommend you to take up program for there is hips to learn.
Take your time to read the links I attached above, as I know there is a lot pages to read. Happy editing and let me know if anything else I could help or need to clarify further. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:58, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: Thank you so much, Cassiopeia. I will check out the vandalism pages you reference; sadly, I don't have the bandwidth for the Counter-Vandalism Academy at this time.
Intriguing that you chose the name of one of my favorite constellations. I run a blog I call "EarthMoonandStars", where in 2014 I featured the 12 zodiac constellations. I'm planning on writing about more constellations soon; your namesake will definitely be one of them! Martian (talk) 21:31, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi @Martian:, Yes Cassiopeia is the constellation, named after the queen of [[Aethiopia] and mother of Princess Andromeda in Greek mythology and she was placed in the sky as a punishment after enraging Poseidon :). Let me know when you wish to contribute your zodiac constellations related knowledge in Wikipedia by writing a few articles, I will forward the relevant links to you for your perusal on how to write an article in Wikipedia and its requirements from the subject such as nobility, reliable independent source, inline citation and verification. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:02, 25 January 2018 (UTC)

BMW E46 -Warning about not including Citation

Warning about not including Citation
Hello Cassiopeia,

I received a message from you regarding a change I made on the BMW E46 page. I did not include a citation/source for the info provided, because the info provided came directly from my brain, as I attended the European Drift Championship for several years in a row, and I met all those people myself. Mikeyjack (talk) 14:32, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

@Mikeyjack:, Good evening, and thank you for the message above. Content added and edited in Wikipedia needs to support by inline citing of a/multiple reliable, independent source/s for verification. I understand your content is derived from your knowledge collection by your experience; however, there is no way for verification. If you find some source to back it up, then you are welcome to add in the content with inline citation. For inline citation please see WP:IC, for independent sourcing please see WP:SOURCE and for verification please see WP:V. Speedy deletion contested: Jelena Behrend

Hello CASSIOPEIA. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Jelena Behrend, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article claims coverage in reliable sources. Thank you. Sam Sailor 19:06, 28 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi @Sam Sailor: Thank you for informing. My nomination is not because of WP:RS but the subject might not meet WP:ANYBIO and WP:CREATIVE. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 19:15, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi C. Speedy deletion under A7 is a much lower bar than deletion under PROD or via a discussion at AFD: we do not judge notability when considering if a subject should be deleted under A7. The moment we begin thinking "he/she may or may not be notable under WP:BASIC (or whatever)", then we are no longer in CSD territory. Have a read on User:SoWhy/Common A7 mistakes. User:Adam9007 has written the essay A7 myths debunked that is also well worth a read. And Common claims of significance or importance is a very handy, rough reference list to consult before tagging with A7. Let me know, if you have any questions, or you need help with anything. Kind regards, Sam Sailor 19:46, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
@Sam Sailor:, Thank you for the info. I have a glance of the links you stated and get a lot of what A7 is NOT and confuse/not sure what A7 is actually is. Just to clearify if I interpret A7 correctly : In nutshell: A7 cares only about the article content that claim of significant in regardless WP:RS, WP:IC could be found in the article, or the the subject notability. Do advise, my understanding of the above is correct. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 20:41, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
That is correctly understood: if the claim of significance is credible, then no sources (let alone inline citations) need to be present. It is not an A7 candidate. This is, however, not an exact science - if it was, we would have a robot to do the tagging as well as the declining. But A7 is, if you don't mind the language, our crap filter, it is where we filter away "Jublasound is Ohio's up-and-coming boy-band, founded in December 2017. They practise every Wednesday in Steve's father's garage." and "Steven Johnson (born 2004 in Deadville, OH) is the front-figure of the famous, new boy-band Jublasound." You get the picture? Sam Sailor 21:04, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
@Sam Sailor: Hi, Thank you, the "carp filter" analogy explanation suits to a tee. Thank your for the taking the time to advice me. Really appreciate it. Have a good night. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 21:17, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
YW! Keep up all the good work you do! Sam Sailor 21:21, 28 January 2018 (UTC)

2 things

Mara Romero Borella has fought the twice with the UFC and once with Invicta and also Angela Rivera-Parr fought for the WMC kickboxing title. Dwanyewest (talk) 01:31, 28 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi @Dwanyewest:, Good day. Thank you for bring the above to my attention.
(1) Mara Romero Borella -I believe you meant List of current UFC fighters - Women's flyweights page as she does not have namepage in Wiki. If so, then the WMG-IGM record is 1-1, as they are WMG-IGM record and not her MMA record.
(2) Angela Rivera Parry - I am not sure who are you referring to as there is no such fighter in UFC or any other promotion as I can find her in the in Sherdog or Tapology.
Should I have mistaken what you meant, kindly clarify and explain further. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:44, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi @Dwanyewest:, after you edits, I understand what you meant now. Thank you and will work on them. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:59, 28 January 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Michael Dadashi

Hello CASSIOPEIA. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Michael Dadashi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: undisclosed paid editing, maybe, but that does not change the fact that the article contains plenty of claims of significance. Thank you. SoWhy 09:09, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi SoWhy, OK. Thanks. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:02, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

RfD proposal: List of current UFC fighters

I noticed your RfD proposal because it affects a subject I'm watching, and tried to fix it. It took me a few tries, but I found that if you're copy-pasting from the how-to instructions, it helps to work from a text editor like Notepad, just to strip the formatting. I'm not sure, but it seems that the 2017 editor likes to convert the formatting into wikitext, which breaks the template substitution. Dancter (talk) 16:30, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

Hi @Dancter:, Thanks for writing and THANK YOU so much for correctly my edit. Appreciate it. I noticed after I have saved the edit and i didnt know how to fix it. I had read the how to instruction and confused with how to actually apply on the request. I consulted an editor who did a series of pages redirect to another page and he/she was kind enough to provide me the step by step instruction. I tried and seemed I failed miserably. The instructions are as below, kindly advise what I have done wrong or provide a step by step instructions as I have redirect pages needed to raise via redirect discussion page. Thanks in advance. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 16:41, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
 • On all the redirects you want deleted replace: #REDIRECT Where the article points to to
 • Click here to add the redirects you want deleted to today's discussion. Add a new section.
 • Add this text:
 • And underneath that:
 • Do that as many times as you need to and on the final entry replace the }} with |text=The actions you would like to occur (deletion, re-targeting, etc.) and the rationale for those actions.}} ~~~~

kindly advise what I have done wrong or provide a step by step instructions as I have redirect pages needed to raise via redirect disucssion page. Thanks in advance. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 16:41, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

After previewing some test edits, I'm wondering if you wikilinked the text when you filled in the "redirect=" field. It's not supposed to be wikilinked. It could be something else, though. I noticed some of the entries cut off a letter too soon, such as that of Michal Oleksiejczuk, which was entered as "Michal Oleksiejczu." Dancter (talk) 17:02, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi @Dancter:, If only one of the them , such you pointed out on the above" then it would be only one input incorrectly; however, all the entries I made were incorrect. What I did was use the above instructions and follow accordingly. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 17:08, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
The only way I could come close to the errors I saw was when I tried

instead of

, which is what worked for me. Dancter (talk) 17:18, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi @Dancter:, Ok Thank you. Will try on my next request. Appreciate your help. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 17:31, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

TJ Dillashaw vs. Cody Garbrandt result

http://www.sherdog.com/events/UFC-217-Bisping-vs-St-Pierre-61989 If you are going to use "KO (punches)" for the Dillashaw/Garbrandt result then the same should be used for the Jedrzejczyk/Namajunas fight, according to your link. I was also told that the results are taken from Sherdog, so both results should be "TKO (punches)" if that's the case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.18.138.17 (talk) 22:43, 6 February 2018 (UTC)

@78.18.138.17: Greetings to you. Thank you for your comment above. Please note that according to mixed martial arts project guidelines in Wikipedia Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts - Method, unless sources within the body text of the article state otherwise, always use the result that is available in a fighter's record at Sherdog Fight Finder - see here WP:MMABOX point 2 on Method. As per the source to Dillashaw/Garbrandt and Namajunas/ Jedrzejczyk the conclusion of the methods were KO - see here [5] and [6] for your reference. It is quite obvious now that the person who keeps trying to get my page deleted is doing it out of being selfish. I did not make this page out of being selfish or wanting attention. I made this page to inform the public about a new micro nation. I have tons of supporters of Adamburg and not just me. I want Wikipedia to grow in knowledge. And the way to do that is to not let people delete pages for selfish gains. Also, Adamburg was not invented it was a name given a while back to a certain plot of land that is now the country — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adma2618 (talkcontribs) 03:57, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

@Adma2618: Greetings and thank you for the question above. Subject of an article/page needs to meet Wikipedia nobility criteria - pls see WP:N. In addition, content in Wikipedia either added/created/edited needs to support by independent reliable source for verification - pls see WP:SOURCE and WP:V. Your article does not meet the abovementioned so it would not merit a page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:27, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

Marfuz - references

Hi CASS.

Thanks for reaching out re the lack of references on Marfuz’ wiki artist bio article page. I’m new at writing Wikipedia articles and have a hard time figuring out how to create the references section. I tried formulating the article as objectively and non-promoting as possible. Since Marfuz is an upcoming artist he doesn’t have the longest track record yet, which means that he doesn’t have a lot of articles referring to him or his work yet. His work has been officially published to the largest music distribution services like Spotify, iTunes, etc.

Could you please share some insights on what kind of references would validate the content of his artist bio for you? Hands-on examples would be be highly appreciated.

And again, thanks for reaching out.

Kind regards, Tony Tonyhanna (talk) 04:19, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

@Tonyhanna:, Greetings. Subject of a page in Wikipedia needs to meet Wikipedia nobility criteria - pls see WP:N and the content needs to support by third party/independent reliable source for verification. References/sources info could be found here WP:SOURCE and for verification pls click here WP:V. Your article doesnt seem to meet the above. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:33, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

Wrong project attribution?

Please take a look at Toros del Este. Found it during category maintenance work. Looks like the wrong attribution. The article is in Spanish. How to handle this? Nominate for deletion or improvement/translation suggestion? -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:15, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

@Bbarmadillo: Hi, Greetings to you and thank you for the question. The Spanish Wiki does have a page of Toros del Este - link here [10]. The EN version is a stub and it does not look like a copy & paste with translation work. It might be user:Rolando creation; however, we cant be sure. However, the EN version does not have any citation and the no proper source is mentioned. The External and see also section mainly point back to the primary source which is not considered a reliable independent source for verification. For any work that is copy and paste with translation from other wiki language site to EN wiki, proper attribution should be made. What you could do is the follow
 1. On article talk page : Any copy-paste requires attribution. Place on the English articles talk page, using original wiki language articles URL and title.
 2. On article page - place title of the article. Example Toros del Este
 3. Send a message to English wiki site created and let him/her know about proper attribution policy -see WP:PATT.
If you are interest to work on vandalism work while you are doing category maintenance work you could read about vandalism - see here WP:VAN and tick check on WP:Twinkle on your Preference page where you could warn editors who vandalizes the page. Hope the above help and have a wonderful day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 08:09, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
Thank you. It has been resolved by other editors. I haven't realized from the very beginning that is was vandalism. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:29, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I didn't copy the translation of the article. If there's no mistake in the text, that cannot be considered as copyright violation since it is a translation with my own words. Also the address you've written is given as a reference. Maybe i can improve references, since the text is used on a lot of websites. I hardly see any reason to a speedy deletion. --Rt788 (talk) 11:03, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

@Rt788: Hi, thank you for the question. See link here [11] - where google translate which similiar to a few part of your article which you have only added/deleted one word or two. Normal practice is to having four consecutive words same from original source unless they are normal phrasing such as "the event is schedule xxx date or the common name of event, place, person name and title, and others. However to say, it will be subject to the admin reviewing this article to decide if copyright is infringed before deletion is taken place. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:20, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Actually due to my mere mistake I ended up doing a wrong informational edit..! So, I had to change that . Wikishivangi (talk) 13:49, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

You just reviewed this version of Young Greens of Aotearoa New Zealand. What about its one reference (to the group's Facebook page)? How does the article demonstrate that notability is met? Hi! Thank you for your reminder. You are absolutely right, of course. I translated the article from Catalan as suggested by an English editor on my talk page, but I could not find the template. I see you have put it yourself. Now I'll know where to find it (I did know its syntax in Catalan Viquipèdia but not in the English Wikipedia). --ReginaManresa (talk) 05:38, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm BloodyKnuckles1. I believe my edit to feminism was true. User 82.112.167.23 and his obsession with this guy Mehsin Nseir

Cassiopedia, I have been noticing that User 82.112.167.23, whom you warned two times for disruptive editing, has been harassing, possibly vandalizing, articles about Russian energy corporations. He keeps putting the name "Mehsin Nseir" in the founders and key people infoboxes about the Russian corporations. There is no evidence of the fact the founder is Mehsin Nseir and the general director is Mehsin Nseir in Rosatom and even though I revert this change and use info from the Russian version article, he keeps changing it. He also does in Rosneft as well but does not respond to the fix I made in deleting Nseir from key people in the infobox. Please address this as he or she probably did not learn his or her lesson on vandalizing and disruptive editing. Thanks.

Hi, I don't believe that the fighter Josip Artuković fails WP:NMMA. It's more complicated than this, you can't judge someone's importance and relevance by the number of fights in 2 or 3 promotions that someone said are important (by what criteria?!). That would be way too simple and not correct. For example, in the list (second tier of MMA promotions) you have organizations like Tachi Palace (totally unknown), Rizin (only had few events and they exist for a short period of time), Universal Reality Combat Championship (totally unknown). But you don't have promotions like Final Fight Championship (FFC), Superior FC, Greek Fighting Championship (GFC) etc... This are the promotions that do not come from USA, UK, Brazil or Russia, but are bigger and better and have a very big importance for the European fighting scene. Superior FC is a German promotion (No1 in Germany), FFC is located in Croatia and now USA (KSW and FFC are the best MMA promotions in Europe), and Greek FC is from Greece (very important for this part of Europe). There are many more promotions that are very important but are not in the WP:NMMA list. So you might want to update this list... I know this things because it's my job to know them. I am a well known journalist, TV commentator, editor, writer and I've worked for the UFC, Bellator, FFC, Glory and K-1.

About Josip Artuković. He is a pioneer of MMA fighting on the highest level in his country - Bosnia and Herzegovina. That is his importance. He is one of the first guys from Bosnia and Herzegovina that got a chance to fight for Russian promotions like ABC (on the list), M-1 (on the list) and Final Fight Championship (Croatian - don't know why they are not on the list). Besides that, he is the first person to start somewhat serious MMA promotion in his own country and all this gave him opportunity to work in Ireland as MMA coach and instructor. So he is very relevant for this part of Europe and very important athlete in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Few weeks ago I did a page for Roberto Soldić also from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and now Josip Artuković. My roots are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, so my idea is to do wikipedia pages for the important fighters from this country. Best regards Marko @krajten

@Krajten:, Hi Greetings to you and welcome to Wikipedia. It is good to know we have a well-knowledge MMA Wikipedian join us, this is a pleasure to have for we have someone know the sport well but also a MMA fan who would like to contribute to Wikipedia to share the content to the world. Thank you. I appreciate your comments above and let me share with you about Wikipedia. If you already know, then just skip the below few lines then.
Wikipedia has many Wiki Project Portals. Each project portal defines the guidelines by the consensus decision of the wikipedians who are interested in the project. Most Wiki Project sport would define the notability a player need to play in Olympics game, Commonwealth games, world cup, some major clubs belong to a well-known leagues and etc. For MMA, fighter you could visit Wiki Project MMA - see link here WP:MMA and they were set before my I joined the Wikipedia family. Subjects that earn their pages in Wikipedia needs to meet the nobility criteria, with the support of reliable independent source for verification. For MMA fighter nobility - pls see here WP:NMMA and guidelines on promoter - see here WP:MMATIER -in a nutshell, it defines a fighter needs to have 3 fights in tier one promotion, which are UFC and Invicta. Tier two or below promoters need to have 10 fighters in the top 10 for a period of time to to be place in tier one. I understand, your frustrations, as the nobility of MMA fighters debates and discussions have gone through many rounds. You could have a read the achieve discussion at the MMA project nobility talk - see here - Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mixed martial arts/MMA notability (there are 10 achieves there). The latest discussion were Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mixed martial arts/MMA notability/Archive 9#New parameters for a Bellator fighter's notability? and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mixed martial arts/MMA notability/Archive 10 when Gegard Mousasi, Rory MacDonald, Matt Mitrione and Ryan Bader joined Ballator.
Personally, I would like to see a few more promotions to get into the tier 1 or allow tier 2 to be part of the criteria and yet, on the other site of the perspective, UFC is still the the organisation holds most all the top fighter according to the ranking from the media. I know there is MMA competition where fighters represent their counties and compete against each other at International Mixed Martial arts Federation, but the standard has not reach to the point like soccer world cup / rugby world cup status to gain the entry of the acceptance of MMA nobility criteria.
To say that, however, I believe there some fighters are as good if not better than that of UFC's who yet to be part of the organisation. If you wish, you could start a discussion at the MMA project nobility talk page and with your in dept knowledge, I am very sure your would put forward your points and see if any changes could be achieved. However, just to let you know, even thought we have a lot (hundred of thousands) of MMA fans read wikipedia MMA fighters' pages and promotion event pages in Wikipedia, the participation of discussion is usually make up of just a handful of us. If a consensus could be made then the guidelines would be changed.
I believe I have answered your questions. If not, then let me know what you need to clarity further. Once again thank you for your contribution and welcome to Wikipedia. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 17:32, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
