Darshan Academy

Kindly let me know what makes you feel that the Darshan Academy page that you deleted, was portraying any sort of promotional content because according to me it just told the very basic aspects of any school like the overview, motto of the school adopted and its branches.

Moreover, all the points mentioned were properly backed up with reliable citations from newspapers and websites.

All the information and statists added were factual.

You are kindly requested to help me build the page in a more unpromotional way instead of nominating it for speedy deletion or deleting it. Please suggest changes so that the seemingly promotional content can be removed from the page instead of deleting it. Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute

My apologies for seemingly presenting a promotional piece, this was not my intention. Declared interest: I am a current student at the SPTI. I would argue the article should be restored under A7 - This is an educational institution and should be judged to a lower standard than notability (see https://unistats.ac.uk/Institutions/Details/10053279/ReturnTo/Subjects/10053279PT-021). G11 - Perhaps the text suggest this but the SPTI article can be expanded to show its importance to UK psychotherapy's origins. @Drudge dread: You are correct that WP:A7 doesn't apply to educational institutions... but WP:G11 does. And because you have a conflict of interest, you should have created the article in draft space or in your sandbox, and submitted it for review via Wikipedia:Articles for creation. And schools are not subject to a lower standard of notability for inclusion; the lower standard applies only to speedy deletion. All organizations, whether they are bands, clubs, schools, or large companies, are subject to WP:CORP. I suggest you contact the deleting administrator Jimfbleak (talk · contribs) and request restoration to draft space to give you time to improve the article. New material published to main space runs the risk of speedy deletion, whereas material that has been worked on in draft space and reviewed by a neutral reviewer has a better chance of surviving. ~Anachronist (talk) 15:49, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Anachronist: thanks. Drudge dread, issues you need to address apart from the tone are the lack of independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Apart from an affiliation, the only source is its own website. You tell us only about the courses offered, which looks promotional. We know nothing about the numbers of students or staff, or how it's funded, although it appears to be a private commercial enterprise. Also it's important, as Anachronist says, that you read Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)

Edewolbock, you should add the code {{subst:submit}} to the top of the draft, and wait for a review. Be aware that there is a backlog, so it may not be picked up immediately.
