Thanks for your work on cywiki

Many thanks for your help on cywiki. However I've reverted this edit. On Welsh Wikipedia, we take a live feed from Wikidata; at present we have 9,000 photos coming from WD and we are busy filling the remaining gap of around 1,500 (decreasing; live / not extinct) - there were 2,250 in January! We have done the same with bird sounds - they are automated, and at present we have c. 154 (increasing) coming from WD. On the 6th May we have around 50 ornithologists coming together in Snowdonia to edit cywiki, Commons and Wikidata. You're welcome to join us! Cell Danwydd (talk) 15:32, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please replace with "Black-crowned Tchagra (Tchagra senegala).jpg" with "Black-crowned Tchagra, Tchagra senegala.jpg", due to incorrect identification of the first file. Not sure how to do it in your system. JMK (talk) 18:47, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Swamp boubou, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cabinda. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, JMK. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 13

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited White-browed scrub robin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tana River (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Copyright problem on Ace Magashule

Content you added to the above article back in March appears to have been copied from https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/aces-bizarre-poison-claims-20180106. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. All content you add to Wikipedia must be written in your own words. Please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:45, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. We had this discussion in 2012, but I was wondering if you still hold a strong position on this. I've been looking at WP:COMMONNAME in relation to South African articles, and I remain unconvinced that the article should be called Louis Tregardt when the spelling Louis Trichardt is the more common one. Please see the the talk page of that article.Park3r (talk) 22:04, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
