Kishori mohan naskar

Okay well it looks like it was deleted either way, but thanks for the notice then for Kishori mohan naskar. Wgolf (talk) 16:41, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Pancreatic cancer research.

Hi, Set those up, as discussed: old, and new. Thanks for your help! Wiki CRUK John (talk) 17:06, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Request to delete single revision

Can you please remove a single revision that I put in the sandbox? I was testing the edit filter. The diff is 654728257. 71.178.188.11 (talk) 04:29, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Done. I'm assuming that the edit filter now challenges IPs and Newbies changing between BC and BCE and changing the variety of English, but I haven't checked to see how politely it handles such goodfaiith if bad edits. ϢereSpielChequers 07:33, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks

for catching https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=No_Love_(disambiguation)&action=history blanking of No Love (Joan Armatrading song) UK No.50 and dab page. I have restored "other" hatlist to Eminem song In ictu oculi (talk) 06:37, 4 April 2015 (UTC)

You're welcome. I should have checked into the history, I just treated it as a good faith if incorrect speedy deletion tag. ϢereSpielChequers 08:02, 4 April 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Alexis Mendiola Arroyo‎

I'm hoping I could get you to reverse your decision on the speedy deletion of this article. Despite its name, the Swedish Football Division 1 is in fact the third division of Swedish football, (the top two divisions are Allsvenskan and Superettan) so the reasons for deletion still apply. Thanks in advance. Sir Sputnik (talk) 05:49, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Fair enough, tis gone. ϢereSpielChequers 06:03, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks but no great interest to me, other than to remind people that redirects are cheap - to cheap to bother deleting..... ϢereSpielChequers 10:23, 29 April 2015 (UTC)==Speedy deletion nomination of File:Palace Ruins.JPG

[[

Image:Information icon4.svg|48px|left|alt=|link=]]

A tag has been placed on File:Palace Ruins.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 20:24, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Hello.

May you please check Tarafa Baghajati ? I made few changes, added more references ,two more ideas , and tried to change the article lay out to be more specific . so can you take a look at it please ? and I saw you are an Admin in English wikipedia..so can you see if it is grammerically fine for Wikipedia ? thank you in advance :) Wikipedian13579 (talk) 01:03, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi Wikipedian13579, I have read it and made a few minor changes, I've also tagged some relevant projects which may bring it to the attention of editors who specialise in those subjects. Hope that helps. ϢereSpielChequers 05:42, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
Thank you so much :) Wikipedian13579 (talk) 07:52, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm afraid I don't understand why the mentioned page doesn't qualify for speedy deletion under either of the tagged critera (A7 and G11). Could you please explain? -©2015 Compassionate727(Talk)(Contributions) 18:59, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi Compassionate727 "was the leader of Tarhuna and Msallata tribes." is a credible assertion of importance so A7 definitely doesn't apply. Whether those tribes are sufficiently big or important that a former leader is notable is something I'll leave to those who are interested in that period of Libyan history, but please remember that speedy deletion is only for very clearcut cases, if notability is disputed then AFd is the appropriate venue. As for the G11 tag, that was less clearcut, I'd agree that the article does have POV problems, not uncommon when articles start on independence fighters, so I've replaced the advert tag with a POV one, remember with G11 Pages that are exclusively promotional, and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic. If a subject is notable and the content can be replaced with text that complies with neutral point of view, this is preferable to deletion ϢereSpielChequers 22:33, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
Alright, thanks for clarifying. -©2015 Compassionate727(Talk)(Contributions) 00:28, 28 August 2015 (UTC)

Hey there, I noticed you removed my SD nomination, stating that it was a "former name", can you provide a source? I'm just curious. —Skyllfully (talk | contribs) 21:02, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi Skyllfully, well it certainly wasn't a typo! I did see something similar in the History section, but the key thing to remember here is that redirects are cheap, and if someone else has created a redirect the assumption is that they had reason to do so. ϢereSpielChequers 16:21, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Hey there, thanks for your advice. I was only concerned that a newcomer would like to create something like the page "Royal Academy of Munich", assuming that it is real. —Skyllfully (talk | contribs) 19:13, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
In my experience when people expand redirects into articles it usually is because there is something real and different to the article the redirect is pointing to. Remember one of the advantages of having redirects from various alternate/old names is that they reduce the chance of people creating duplicate articles. The more such redirects we can create the more likely it is that when people search for the old name they get to the article it is redirected to instead of a page saying we don't have an article on that, do you want to create it? ϢereSpielChequers 19:26, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Dr G. Satheesh Reddy:

this article created serval time with diff name and deleted..... you can cheak it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._Satheesh_Reddy — Preceding unsigned comment added by Imabbas (talkcontribs)

Yes, people keep creating it by copy and pasting from sources such as this, but that just means it has to be deleted as a copyright violation. To create a wikipedia article you need to read the sources, write things in your own words and cite your facts to those sources ϢereSpielChequers 08:18, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

I have marked Wikipedia:Pancreatic cancer (version h) with {{db-test}}. Remove the template if you object. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:56, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

I've removed both, as it is still handy having them. But I can move to usespace if wanted. cheers. Johnbod (talk) 05:09, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
The week I requested is long up, so thanks to everyone for their forebearance. I think there is sense to keep records of such projects, and in Wikipedia space rather than userspace. However if the project is now complete it would make sense to add a box at the top explaining what the page is, what it was used for and linking to the results.
