Collecting sources

I'm starting to collect sources to see if the Khema page can be revitalized with content and proper references. I'm using this talk space to hold any relevant materials that can be used to support article writing. Best, AD64 (talk) 02:03, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

includes sources to Sutras at bottom of section about Khema. At top of page is list of abbreviations for each Sutra.

Now to search out some scholarly sources as well. AD64 (talk) 02:43, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Garling, Wendy. Stars at Dawn: Forgotten Stories of Women in the Buddha's Live. Shambhala Publications. Forthcoming, August 2016. 978-1611802658.
appears to include material on "Buddha’s first female disciples".

Requesting help with sources, materials, and collaborations

In addition to my own research, I've posted to the talk page of the WikiProject Women's History asking for help finding sources on Khema and also potential collaboration to help enhance this article.

And, naturally, if anyone watching this article has sources or would like to collaborate, please do jump in! Your support would be very welcome.
