Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is an upcoming Indian period film.[3] The film is being produced by Ram Charan on Konidela Production Company banner and directed by Surender Reddy. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Sudeep, Nayanthara, Jagapati Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, and Brahmaji.[4][5] This is the 151st film of Chiranjeevi, and is based on the life of freedom fighter from Rayalaseema, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.[6]
This film began in Hyderabad on 6 December 2017.[7] The motion poster and title of the film was unveiled on 22 August 2017 on account of Chiranjeevi's birthday. Regular shooting of the film started on 6 December 2017.
Amitabh Bachchan will make a cameo appearance,[8] and has allocated a three-day callsheet for the film.[9]
Plot
Set 10 years earlier than India's first war of independence, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the story of a freedom fighter,Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against the British.

Production
On 26 June 2017 Ram Charan announced that filming would begin in August 2017 and would be directed by Surender Reddy. Charan is producing the film under the Konidela Productions banner.[5] A.R.Rahman was initially signed to do the music, but later opted out because of date issues.[citation needed] Surender Reddy roped in Amit Trivedi after holding discussions with Ilaiyaraaja and M.M. Keeravani. Ravi Varman was initially signed to do Cinematography, but later opted out because of date issues. Later, R. Rathnavelu was replaced under Ravi Varman to do the Cinematography. Rajeevan was signed to do Production Designing. Filming began on 6 December 2017.[10][11]
Filming is to take place for war sequences in Georgia, and around 50cr (US$7 million) is to be spent on war sequences[12]
Marketing
The first teaser of the film is released on August 21, 2018. [13] Chiranjeevi's First look as Syeraa narasimha reddy was revealed on August 22,2018.[14]
Sudeep's character was revealed as Avuku Raja on September 1, 2018 and motion poster was released on the same day on account of Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeep Birthday .[15]
