Major review

I have done some pretty serious surgery on this article and also on Segway PT today and earlier. The aim has been to trim out some excess detail, to avoid duplication between the two articles, and to make a clearer distinction between content that belongs in the Segway PT article and in the company article. The result has been that the company article is looking quite thin. What is needed next is some more recent information and the product lineup since acquisition by Ninebot. What I don't underestand is whether Segway is now simply a brand with all production being done by Ninebot or what. I also notice that there is no article for Ninebot on WP. Theft

Why aren't there any mention of Ninebot stealing the technology and flooding the market? 80.164.77.108 (talk) 19:39, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deaths while operating

Should we include malfunctioning segways leading to death and or notable operators deaths? There were newsmedia reports some years ago that a Manchester Police Commissioner rode one off a cliff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.161.136.255 (talk) 22:02, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Where have you read a single news article about this? There are no reports of malfunctioning units causing death. Steve Lux, Jr. (talk) 14:48, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rental e-scooters

Segway is making many (but not all) of the rental scooters used by Bird and Lime. I'm sure someone has written about it, and if so, it might merit a mention in the Segway article. The Segway logo appears on many of these scooters (this is WP:OR for me), but it is not clear how this is affecting Segway as a company. Etamni | ✉   22:11, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
