Hi, my name is Luis Miguel Romero and i began contributing to Wikipedia in April, 2008.

I'm from Mexico and a great lover of the world of Classic Cinema. In general I'm interested to contribute with my knowledge of this wonderful site, especially anything that relates with the movies or classic Latin American Stars.

I'm a big fan of stars like Dolores del Río, Katy Jurado, María Félix, Lupe Vélez. I'm interesed especially increase the information about the Latin world in English-speaking countries, and demonstrate the cultural richness that we also have in the south of the Grande River!.

Dolores del Río The main reason I signed up to wikipedia (after just using it casually for years) was to improve this page. She was an actress with a flawless career and a point of reference for all the actresses of Latin American origin. In addition, she was a beautiful woman with a fascinating life.

Lupe Vélez The legendary "Mexican Spitfire". There is much about the life and career of Lupe Velez following being discovered today. A black legend overshadowed her life for many years, and my interest is to highlight her work as an actress and her talent, above the urban legend that surrounds her.

Katy Jurado One of the greatest actresses of her generation. Her film work was impeccable, not only in Hollywood, but also in the Mexican Cinema.
María Félix There are few things that have not been revealed about Maria Felix. Hopefully other countries and non-Spanish-speaking, come to appreciate her as much as in Latin America.
Golden Age of Mexican cinema The most important Spanish spoken film industry that has existed in the world.
Rumberas film I love the great rumberas of the Mexican Cinema! (especially Rosa Carmina). Mexico was very fortunate to own this film curiosity so much fun!.
