Mark Biltz (born: June 25, 1956) is an American Christian pastor and author. His theories correlate solar and lunar eclipses and biblical prophecy and he has published several books on the topic which earned him wide-spread notoriety in television, radio, newspapers and magazines around the world. Biltz is also the Washington state director of Christians United for Israel, a pro-Israel organization founded by John Hagee. Since beginning his research on the "Blood Moons" tetrad phenomenon in 2008, Biltz has come to be known as "the blood moons pastor" or "Blood Moon Biltz". In his research and findings, he correlates lunar and solar eclipses with the modern State of Israel.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]

Biography

Mark Biltz was born on June 25, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas to Jean (née Matthews) and Harry Biltz.[14][15]

In 1975, he attended Kansas Newman College and started to take an interested in Judaic studies. Soon after, he left the Roman Catholic Church and studied evangelism.[15]

In 1987, he moved to Washington State and served as an administrative teacher of South King County Bible College in Seattle, Washington.[16]

In 2001, he founded El Shaddai Ministries where he started to teach the bible to Christians from a Jewish perspective.[16]

In 2008, he started researching the phenomenon known as "Blood Moons" and started to correlate data he found on NASA's website with the Hebrew calendar and the modern State of Israel. Since then, he has come to be known as "Blood Moons Biltz" and “the blood moons pastor”.[2][3][6][17][18][19][20][13][21][1]

Biltz hosts his own show on the PTL TV Network entitled Discovering the Ancient Paths.[22]
