The 2019 Tampa Bay Buccaneers season will be the franchise's 44th season in the National Football League, the 22nd playing their home games at Raymond James Stadium and their first under former Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians. They will try to make the playoffs for the first time in 12 years.

Draft trades

  • The Buccaneers traded their seventh-round selection in 2019 and free safety J. J. Wilcox to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for Pittsburgh's sixth-round selection (202nd overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft.[2]
  • The Buccaneers traded their sixth-round selection to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for Arizona's seventh-round selection and the rights to head coach Bruce Arians.[3]

2019 opponents

On January 21, the NFL announced that the Buccaneers will play host to the Carolina Panthers as part of the International Series in London, England — either Wembley Stadium or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The game will be televised in the United States, with the exact date, venue, kickoff time and network to be announced in conjunction with the release of the 2019 regular season schedule.[4]
