SR Engineering College (SREC) is an local engineering college located in Warangal, Telangana. It is an autonomous institution accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. SR Engineering College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH).
History
SREC was established in 2002 and is sponsored by S R Educational Society.
Campus
The SREC campus is located in Ananthasagar village of Hasanparthy Mandal in Warangal, Telangana, India. It is located on Warangal-Karimnagar highway at about 20 km away from Warangal. Due it's location mainly the students are from local villages and rural people.

Students are admitted into the five branches of Engineering under the following categories.

The Government of Telangana allows admission of diploma holders into the second year under "Lateral entry scheme" to the extent of 10% of intake to each of the branches on a supernumerary basis.

Technology Business Incubator
SR Group launched SRiX (SR Innovation Exchange), a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) in Warangal. This 1,00,000 square foot state-of-the-art TBI is supported by Department of Science & Technology (DST) and Government of India to accelerate the startup eco-system.[1][2]
