Christine Bottomley (born 27 April 1979 in Rochdale, England) is an English actress.

Life and career

Born in Rochdale and grew up in an apartment over the family's chemist shop. She went to several local youth drama groups before embarking on a course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama,[1] from where she graduated in 2001. After this she took on her first role in an episode of EastEnders.

Bottomley recently appeared in the eighth episode of the second series of Torchwood, "A Day in the Death". She appears in comedy series Massive on BBC Three and the BBC One drama Hope Springs and also a BBC drama: Land Girls.

She has starred in a 2009 film, entitled Hush.
