Sri Lanka in England[edit]

Please use full names when using commentary, i.e. Mahela Jayawardene should be put as Jayawardene rather than just Jayawardene. Also, Amir Khan spells his name "khan" not "kahn" as you put.

License tagging for Image:KTTG1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:KTTG1.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:KTTG1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:KTTG1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:44, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WWF vs. WWE[edit]

Yes i do agre the Pay Per Views were under World Wrestling Federation, but as for some people who wonder what the cases are between WWF and WWE, changing it from Federation to Entertainment wouldn't be a problem. I mean, we dont see World Wrestling Federation or WWF painted all over WWE.com or PPV's history sections, do we? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkside05 (talkcontribs) 14:16, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tony, I read part of your article, and I think it's great. Only thing is that it includes a lot of slang (e.g. "thrown to the wayside") —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.240.227.140 (talk) 15:02, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re[edit]

Okay, I'll finish looking at it a little later. Right now I'm busy with a few projects but I'll take a look at the rest of it in a few. The background is mainly fine. I haven't got to the event yet, but you should be able to get it to GA.--WillC 20:20, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well from what I've learned, each match should tell how it began and how it ended. Now if it is a main event match, then a little more should be added. Like a near fall or a spot. If a match has a replay spot like the spear from the ladder in the TLC at WrestleMania by Edge to Jeff Hardy, then that should be mentioned. So stuff that goes down in history of the program or has an impact for a few days. As an example take a look at the event for Lockdown (2008). I'll make the links for the moves and take them out of universe the best way I can.--WillC 00:56, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of Paint It Blacker[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Paint It Blacker, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Paint It Blacker is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

Proposed deletion of It's Time 4 Plan B[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article It's Time 4 Plan B, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Good job[edit]

Now I haven't read it fully but good job with Cheerleader Melissa. I found your subpage for her. It is good to see someone working on an indy wrestler's article for once.--WillC 09:16, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good, hey have you ever thought of trying to take it to GAN? It would be nice to have as a Good Article. She is probably one of the most popular indy female wrestlers there is. If I find some time I could help you out with it. Melissa, Mschif, Sara Del Ray, and a few others should be better but it is a shame not many work on their articles. People are more focused on diva articles and WWE stuff more than indy, ROH, or TNA stuff. Yeah I'm working on it. I'm working on really every TNA PPV at the moment. I've opened a subpage for all the 2005 and 2008 TNA PPVs. I have three open for 2007 events. Mshake3 uploaded that iamge for me. I knew he went to the event and asked what images he had. He showed me on Flick and I asked for that image for a production section. I just haven't found the time to finish the article in my subpage.--WillC 18:26, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you should consider it more. It is nice to know you've got something to a certain class that people are going to appreciate and see. Most B class articles are seen as unfinished. After the first two taken to GAN, it doesn't get so bad. I had Hard Justice and No Surrender 08 pass without many problems. In-fact it took No Surrender one day to pass. Yeah I work on a lot of TNA stuff. If I don't then no one else will, expect for Doomsday. Though I take great pride in doing something that everyone else has forgotten about. If I have it my way there will not be much TNA stuff to work on soon. If I succeed in finishing all the TNA ppvs before February then that will be nice. It is a shame that two really good women's wrestlers in Mschif and Melissa haven't been used to their full potential in TNA or WWE. Even if they were signed, though Melissa is with TNA, they wouldn't be used right. TNA should build the knockouts division around Melissa. Bring in Mschif and make a great rivalry between them two over the knockouts belt. Then have Melissa vs Kong. Afterwards make it a 3 way feud. Kong, Melissa, and Mschif. That would make women's wrestling mean something. I understand what you mean. What is the point of working on something you do not care about.--WillC 23:35, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is mainly Vince believing that women's wrestling is not that interesting. It would be funny if Shimmer got big enough that it got a tv show and started beating WWE in ratings. It would be a big slap in the face to Vince. I hope TNA becomes smarter. Dixie Carter should fire the entire creative team. Russo, Mantel, and Jarrett, well not Jarrett. Just make him wrestle and not have anything to do with match making. Borash, Cornette, Da'more, and Raven should be creative. That is when TNA would be very good. I felt the same way when Saeed came in. I thought at Victory Road she was going to turn, yet she still is a manager. It is a pure shame how some of the best women's wrestlers are put to the side for someone that is hot. TNA's women's division should be very different and so should WWE's. Well if you decide to take it to GAN, I'll help you out. Sarah Stock is a GA, Melissa would be nice to have as well. What school do you attend? Yeah it is a shame that some indy feds are over looked. The entire project is about WWE. I'm doing my part to get the project shifted away from that by expanding as many TNA articles as I can. A few people are already asking to help me because they're interesed. Right now I'm working on the following events: User:Wrestlinglover/Victory Road (2004), User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2004), User:Wrestlinglover/Final Resolution (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Against All Odds (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Destination X (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Lockdown (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Hard Justice (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Slammiversary (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/No Surrender (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Sacrifice (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/TNA Unbreakable, User:Wrestlinglover/Bound for Glory (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Genesis (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Bound for Glory (2007), User:Wrestlinglover/Genesis (2007), User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2007), User:Wrestlinglover/Final Resolution (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Against All Odds (2008), Destination X (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Lockdown (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Sacrifice (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Slammiversary (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Victory Road (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Hard Justice (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/No Surrender (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Bound for Glory IV, User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Final Resolution (December 2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Genesis (2009)--WillC 06:15, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It is just a project decision. I followed SummerSlam 03 which says star ratings and all the PPVs say star. I'm in the process of thinking of better ways to use the reception section. Maybe adding a table of ratings from different sites as well as a rating for the DVD of the event. The reception section has yet to be perfected.--WillC 09:37, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SHIMMER[edit]

I noticed in someone's talk page that you're looking to improve the pages of female indy workers. I just want to say I've been to the last four SHIMMER tapings, and if you're looking for anything specific photowise, let me know. Mshake3 (talk) 15:50, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:XWA First Logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:XWA First Logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Hi Tony[edit]

I understand where your coming from Tony. You may not be aware but Im only 14, and I have been a fan of RQW since they were founded and I just want to make them known and get that information out there! I know roughly what encyclopedic means but I dont really know how to write it. I will take your ideas on board, definitely. If you could help me, which you have been, by clearing up what I have wrote but write it the way that it should be on wikipedia. I know a lot of the information through Len (the owner) and having gone to shows (remembering the match cards).

I hope you understand and I now understand what you have been saying. Hopefully we can work together with many other wikipedians to make the real quality wrestling articles the best they can be.

File source problem with File:IWW Champion Drew.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:IWW Champion Drew.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:38, 23 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 03:38, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE:ROH Shows[edit]

I would go with the chronology as ROH lists it, which would be Rising Above and then Southern Hostility. ROH stories tend not to be terribly in depth, anyhow, as a result of not having a weekly TV show to build them. Typically it's just wrestler/team A hates wrestler/team B and they have a lot of matches. Probably the biggest thing going on right now is the Age of the Fall scenario, which is basically Tyler Black leaving, Delirious joining, having a subplot with Daizee Haze (who loves him, apparently), Jimmy Jacobs is a crazy mastermind, Necro Butcher hates all of them. So on, so forth. Anyway, you'll enjoy Rising Above and Southern Hostility a lot - Jimmy Jacobs vs Austin Aries and McGuinness vs Danielson from Rising Above are fantastic, and McGuinness vs Jerry Lynn from Southern Hostility is also brilliant. Cheers, DoomsDay 01:42, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:LDN Capital TV.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:LDN Capital TV.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:16, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Shawn Michaels[edit]

Seriously, you need to chill out. Adding all that went down with Jericho replacing Punk does not belong in Michaels' article. As well as adding the title match that Jericho won against Punk. Nothing else notable happened after No Mercy. Its just that you think it did, which is point-of-view, something you might want to look at. FYI, Cyber Sunday is really pointless to include. Also, statements like "Despite the beating", "...climbed the ladder and each had a hand on the belt strap until Jericho yanked Michaels towards him, headbutting his damaged eye to gain possession and win the match", "after flooring Jericho with Sweet Chin Music", etc, are very POVish. Keep in mind that the article needs to be addressed from an out-of-universe perspective. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:43, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BFG[edit]

At the moment I haven't tried anything. I'm focused on re-writing the entire article. But I've only got to the lead so far. I'll probably do it like this.--WillC 00:14, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which were you looking at? TNA Bound for Glory or the subpage I keep it in; it is located at User:Wrestlinglover/TNA Bound for Glory.--WillC 05:55, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well the subpage is under re-expansion. It will take a major reload here in a few days, hopefully. At the moment I'm just making sure everything sounds right, the layout isn't a mine concern until I find enough sources and write enough amount for each event; such as card, production, reception, etc. But thanks for the advice. The TNA BFG article is my old expansion. I did that around October. Back before I had alot of experience with taking articles to GA. I hope I'm wiser now, so I can write the first GA PPV chronology event article.--WillC 09:12, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply. Anyway, I plan to just have a good paragraph regrading each event. Just telling the main points. Theme, attendance, rating, matches, etc. Just enough that they understand about the event. Mainly following what video game series articles are like.--WillC 07:48, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I feel the template should not state individual champions, instead the teams like I have the TNA one. There should be a link to each team name his it will appear in each article they had the belts under. But that is my opinion.--WillC 21:15, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Legacy[edit]

Well, I disagree. If I see it saying "(2009)", I think og, it's happeneing now in 2009. Saying "(2009-present)" seems ridiculously redundant to me. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:20, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because it sounds better. It is interchangeable in my opinion but (2008-present), i.e. from 2008 to the present, sounds better than (2008-2009), i.e. from 2008 to 2009 which is the present, which what I read/think it when I see it. On the other hand, what you want to say is (2009-present), i.e. from 2009 to the present which is 2009, or basically from 2009 to 2009, which is again what I would think when I read it. It's redundant. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 13:12, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Legacy[edit]

Well either way it works, I'm just trying to avoid any type of jargon. Stable is a jargon word, and alliance pretty much explains stable. So the link is really useless. I personally believe we need an article entirely about the term stable though.--WillC 10:47, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I really think the terms article should use subheaders. Not just A, B, C, D, etc. It should subhead each term so we can link straight to it. There are probably enough sources out there. I didn't think there would be enough for the PWG Titles, but I've completely sourced both of their titles to a point that I have too many sources. Just takes enough searching.--WillC 11:08, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Notbility is determined by reliable sources. Enough can be found, then the term is notable enough for its own article. I've been reading PW Torch and Wrestleview reports to do TNA PPVs. I plan to read from TNA's first weekly PPV and go up until the most recent Impact! over the summer. Then do any article I can do along the way that those episodes will cover. So I'll keep a watch out aswell.--WillC 11:25, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I believe you live in the UK, if so how notable/important is Real Quality Wrestling?--WillC 17:31, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Well I was thinking of nominating it and any related articles for deletion. Which ones should I nominate and which should I not? Also do you think I should even nominate any, because they are notable enough that it is useless to do so?--WillC 18:41, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I'll probably just do a giant delete discussion on them. Get a wider view and a consensus which would be hard to do at WT:PW. I kind of believe Sambiggs or whatever has been hired to write those articles or something. One of his edits said "come down and see us", as if he was advertising. I kind of think they are notable, but we have so many articles around here, it is time to see which ones are and which ones aren't. Something I'm trying to do. That is why I've nominated so many recently.--WillC 20:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe. I've been watching him for a while. He has created a few articles that aren't notable nor needed. Someone really should educate him. Yeah, alot of the newbies always have to follow the WWE way. I don't know why everything has to follow the WWE way to some people. Articles can be different. Some just don't get that.--WillC 21:03, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here you go.--WillC 06:15, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You ever thought about just letting them create Zack Ryder? The debate is getting old. You want to just let them have their way? I'm at the point I don't care anymore if he gets one or not.--WillC 13:53, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I agree; I've felt the same way as you. I'm just to the point I see no purpose in it anymore. The only way to fix the situation is to either create the article or protect Ryder, Hawkins, and Ryder and Hawkins.--WillC 04:59, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FWA / XWA[edit]

Yes the FWA "World" title does look like it will nap the British history.. it is true that there were calls for the title to be reclassified when Doug Williams won it back from Chirs Daniels over in ROH.. even if it does take the linage (like the Flyweight title) i think it should be still kept under one article because at one point or another XWA took the title liage and continued to used the FWA's title belt itself just cus the no longer claim the history doesnt take away from the real facts that they are from the same line. Much like the British Heavyweight Championship article itself. Also its like the All-England title, should now that the belt is being used in IPW instead of FWA mean that a new article is to be made. No i wouldnt think so.

I think the article should be sectioned off to show its use in both companies as split. It give the article a chance to be expanded and more meaningful. As for the Spud thing i think its a case of they want to show themselves to be seperate from XWA but this could be all a ploy and at the end of it we may well see Spud winning it and it being some sort of unification. who knows? -- Paulley (talk) 20:42, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I guess we will have to split the histories into sections some how. --- Paulley (talk) 21:57, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
User:Paulley/FWA World Heavyweight Championship - having a little tweak with this (needs lots of work, feel free tweak anything you can think off or try any ideas that spring to mind).. hopefully if we find something that works we can update the article the move it to the World title page. --- Paulley (talk) 22:16, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yea very true.. but maybe first we should rewrite the article then we were are sure that they are using both title concurrently then the XWA should be split away. I will be glad when this new FWA has settled and we know what they are doing. --- Paulley (talk) 16:29, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.titlehistories.com/European_Title_Histories.htm is your best bet.. there was a dutch site i used to use alot back in the day it was a very indepth resource of wrestling from around all the world, but for this life of me i cant remember it. --- Paulley (talk) 21:15, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Beatiful People[edit]

Online World of Wrestling IS a reliable source, so there is no need to remove them as a source in a article. This is for future reference, there is no need to replace them (unless it is the only source in a article and you want to have multiple sources). TJ Spyke 00:41, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Tony. Just thought to let you know that me and 'Blue have nominated The Legacy as a WP:GT (see above). We've listed you as a main contributor due to all your edits to The Legacy article and your help with the GAN. :) Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:27, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I've found you're writing to be of a good standard in the articles I've seen you edit. :) No, nothing extra. Basically the nomination page will open for between 10 and 14 days, and then either promoted or failed depending on the comments. Since the four articles are all GA and form a complete topic, I don't anticipate any problems and fully expect it to be promoted. There might be a request for clarification on something (since it is wrestling related) - this has happened in a few of my other nominations, but it's never really anything major. It's just a matter of playing the waiting the game now. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 01:40, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alastair Cook[edit]

If and when this goes on WP:GAN can you nominate please? I don't want to look like I'm stealing credit. Spiderone 07:32, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On Cook's talk page place this at the top: {{subst:GAN|subtopic=Sports and recreation}}
Then on WP:GAN place this "# {{la|Alastair Cook}} ~~~~" at the bottom of "Sports and recreation" Spiderone 12:40, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Or, as an alternative, I can nominate it Spiderone 08:24, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like everything in the peer review has been addressed. Even if there are still improvements to be made, the reviewer will usually put it on hold so changes can be made and then hopefully pass it. Spiderone 15:12, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, good work on the article. "Cook played for Essex Academy[3] and quickly made his debut for the first XI in 2003?" I addmiteldly tweaked the sentence a bit, but I don't really understand. Needs clarification on what is the first XI? Surely this is Essex Academy? Aaroncrick (talk) 21:41, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Legacy[edit]

So, you're saying we should let IP's/new registered users add Manu and Snuka as former members anyway? Despite the fact that they were not members? It's true about the "former members" parameter not showing up, but this would just trigger them to request that the parameter appear in the infobox. I would rather revert them, than to have it there. But, like you said, it's an intriguing idea. Maybe you should let PW know about it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:28, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Opinion[edit]

Hello Brit, how is England today? Anyway, considering the mess revolving around Ryder, I was wondering which team would come up next on "why do that get three pages and Ryder doesn't get one: The Game show". All of a sudden it hit me, why does James Storm need a page. He has spent most of his career with AMW and Beer Money. You think he passes the criteria for his own article?--WillC 04:53, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nice to hear. I thought the samething about Storm, but still was wondering. Yeah, I plan to pull out a few TNA stable topics, Beer Money and AMW being one of them, so there should be enough info out there. I don't know much about The Bushwhackers, but The Warriors I do know enough about that they have enough info that it is not needed too merge. Though that is just my opinion.--WillC 03:11, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I agree. Making sure everything is correct. At the moment, I can't think of any team that should be merged though.--WillC 23:04, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just wanted to get a quick opinion, but I've used a somewhat new format with Turning Point (2008) and wanted to know what you thought of it.--WillC 13:39, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for the info. The reception section came before because that came before any storylines continued. Was going in a series of events type of thing. The X division subheader would really be unneeded. I've had problems with that before, where it was felt overkill. Yeah rough draft, plan to use this format with future events. The reason on-screen employees is in the event section, is mainly it talks about people who appeared on the event, not who was meant to be at the event like a production section. Felt that was the better place and gets rid of the table. Nice, I'll probably change it to your sugggestion.--WillC 15:16, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the reason Zack Ryder should get his own page.--WillC 15:58, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder who added him to the page. I wish they could at least make a good argument for the need. It seems they are all just Ryder marks. Now we got a guy saying he is more notable than guys in TNA, which is complete bullshit and that is not the TNA mark inside of me saying that. How could Ryder be more notable than a guy like Kevin Nash, AJ Styles, Abyss, or Jeff Jarrett. We got a guy who has been in a tag team most of career performing in the largest promotion in the world, while on the other we got a guy like Styles who has performed in WCW, ROH, New Japan, and the second largest promotion today where he has held every TNA male Title. Ridiculous!--WillC 16:20, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I hate that catchphrase. Woo Woo Woo, what? Not like he'll become WWE Champion or WH Champion with that gimmick. ECW is another story sadly. I feel bad for Christian. Goes from a global promotion who were willing to pay him 2.5 million a year and give him the world title and leadership of a stable, to a company that sticks him on the C brand with a bunch of green guys without a PPV spot. It is sad when you are defending your title in a dark match before shows. Oh how the mighty have fallen.--WillC 21:54, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I guess it is a matter of seperate opinion. I see Cage's WWE run so far being decent. I'm too use to seeing the guy main event the PPVs and be the center of attention to almost the entire company. While in WWE I see him nothing more than a mid-carder because he gets no promotion. I wouldn't be deadset on an E&C return. WWE tend to like to kill tag teams, so it may just be a one time match and then it will end. Remember it was supposed to be The Hardys vs E&C at Mania this year; though there were rumors of Edge and Matt vs Christian and Jeff as well. Look at Survivor Series for example. They've taken their top two teams and stuck them in world title matches, setting up the end of the teams. I don't see why WWE like to kill their teams. Miz and Morrison were great, but killed them for no reason. The Colons split has gone no where. Hawkins and Ryder were at least decent. Hell, I wish WWE would at least take a page from TNA's book and see that a tag team can make someone a star faster than them being on their own. Take Beer Money and The British Invasion for example. You have Roode who has alot of talent, but no one gave a flying fuck about. Stuck him with Storm in a brilliant move to create Beer Money (A.K.A. AMW 2.0). Now at events where the crowd are usually chanting just for the known guys like Angle, Nash, Sting, etc, they are also chanting "Beer!!! Money!!!". It has made them two stars again after their fall from grace that was Team Canada and AMW. Then you got Magnus who no one liked. As soon as he showed up, people wanted him gone, including myself after he defeated Chris Sabin on PPV for no reason. Brung in the great Doug Williams and the shit but dominate Rob Terry, and after a few months. We have another good team rising up the ranks. With some even saying that Magnus would be a better leader to The World Elite than EY. The team of Miz and Morrison made me care about them two. It actually got me to like The Miz, which when I first saw his ass in 2006 made me want to kill him when he looked like a fucking high rooster. Jerishow is one of their best teams in a long while, and WWE continue to not see how they can market from this. They keep wanting to kill tag team wrestling. Come on, TNA gave their titles credibility and gave newlife to the division with one feud and one tournament. Team 3D vs Beer Money was done greatly and made the TNA Tag and IWGP Tag mean something. Then the 3D Tournament helped establish new teams like The Brits and gave even more meaning to the TNA Titles. Yes I am a TNA fan, but looking at the amount of comments I've seen on forums from people saying the only tag titles they care about are in TNA, means WWE have lost all meaning to their titles. As for MEM in TNA. Tony you must not have watched in a while, but MEM has been dead since BFG. Now we got Nigel Mcguinness beating the shit out of Angle, EY takes control with The World Elite. AJ vs Daniels vs Joe for the world title at Turning Point, and MCMG vs The Brits for the tag titles as well. Really the only thing involving old guys today is Angle vs Wolfe in the semi-main event, and Steiner vs Lashley which is on the undercard. Nash has been suspended, Booker is gone, and Sting is missing. Hogan probably won't be in a match for a few months. His signing has actually helped get TNA's name out there. I don't like it he is around, but whatever makes AJ Styles a house hold name is cool with me. Plus we got Tomko making his return, where he'll fight AJ for the TNA Title soon. TNA have actually turned themselves around, they just need to make sure Hogan doesn't become Hollywood Hogan if you know what I mean. Honestly, if Cage had stayed around I see the Front Line vs MEM storyline going down a different road. Cage would have led them, and won the TNA Title from Sting at Genesis. That there is a fact, because Rhino was meant to win it, but got sick at FR so they changed the finish to Angle winning. It was meant to have Rhino win, and Angle get a shot at becoming a roster member again and fight Jarrett with him facing Foley at Genesis. So, Cage leaving a 2.5 million contract, leadership of a stable, and another World Title for more touring dates, less pay, on the C show, with green guys to me seems like a bad decision. He is helping guys on ECW but Cage is still young and has no reason to help green guys at the moment. Have guys like Finlay, etc do that. We've seen from his TNA run, that Cage is a very good heel main eventer, it seems Vince just doesn't see that.--WillC 14:25, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah they lost their previous matches but it didn't do any harm. Daniels lost an UX that involved 6 people and took a bad fall, so it just made him look stronger. Joe didn't tap out, he passed out, so that made him look tough as well. Plus, the whole theme of the event is now that AJ is champion, he can't trust his friends because they want the title as well. This is their 3 3 way match. That is not counting their UX in March 06 because it wasn't a normal three way. I agree about the Hogan thing, while Angle's neck injury was sold just fine. He was carried out of the arena and missed the next week's Impact!. Well just suspending Nash and not caring about Booker T, seems to show TNA aren't going to pull a WCW and let the old stars act like they own the place. Plus, Nash vs Hogan would be a bad match, but one that would be interesting to see. Yeah, but at the time of their split it made no sense. It just killed the division even more. Honestly, it seems The Miz is better off than Morrison is. I can get behind The Miz, but Morrison just bores me today. Well supposedly Christian wanted to be on top in WWE and Booker wants to fight HBK. Booker never helped TNA so I'm somewhat glad he is gone. While Cage I wish never left. He had a good thing going, and now that the ECW Title will not be defended for the third time in a row on PPV, it just seems like he has fallen so far. As for AJ, no telling. It seems he got upset, then cooled down later. Hell, the next day he got Kaz to stay with TNA. Doesn't seem that bad.--WillC 21:23, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image Gallery[edit]

Is there a reason why the image gallery was removed? There are several great images that help illustrate the article, such as (Madison getting the brown paper bag treatment, hair cuts etc.) It would be impossible to have all those images throughout the article, without it looking cluttered. Sorry that I haven't replied to your comment. In regards to FBH, he/she is merely being a fucktard over the technical name of the move. The move was named the Complete Shot by Gedo and that name has and continues to be recognized as the standard name for the move, much like Triple H has popularized the double underhook facebuster as the Pedigree and Brock Lesnar has popularized the fireman's carry facebuster as the F-5. Oasis (band)[edit]

Hey, you mentioned on the talk page for Oasis (band) the there was some "overkill" with the 20+ citations, I just wanted to tell you my reasoning, being the one who cited all those sources. There has been some heavy debate over whether or not Oasis is still together after Noel's departure, and I wanted to prove, undoubtedly, that Oasis had finished, so I used multiple sources, just in case some were declared invalid or unreliable, and may have gotten carried away adding them after every alert from Google News, where I got all those sources. Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

Never saw Death Before Dishonor. I ordered the first 2 pay-per-views live, missed the next 2, and am debating whether or not to watch Final Battle 2010. I definetly agree. Been teaming almost 2 years, WON's tag team of the year, ROH Tag champs - let's face it, if they'd been a WWE/TNA team, they'd have gotten an article over a year ago. I'd quite enjoy that scenario - I'll happily confess to being a Richards mark, and Edwards has only been improving over the past couple of years. Will do. Take care. NiciVampireHeart 14:35, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Heard it was good. :) I'll have to check it out. I watched Final Battle 2009 live, 'cause it was the first one and I wanted to check it out. It was awesome value for money (€10 for a four-hour show), the only problem was staying up 'til 5am to finish watching it. The dates for the most recent 2 (DBD and GBH) haven't worked out for me. I can watch Final Battle 2010, and I'm thinking to myself that I don't want to miss Richards winning the World Championship for the first time. NiciVampireHeart 14:54, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to point out what the live taping reviewer had meant, ie that Zack Ryder and Teddy Long were like the Dwight Schrute & Michael Scott characters, and assumed that after the episode aired the IP would have realised. However, once the episode aired and nothing was mentioned of Dwight Schrute, the IP still tried to contend it was Zack Ryder's new name. That is blind idiocy and he was annoying me, I'm only human. I think you'll find that in almost all other discussions I'm very civil. Tony2Times (talk) 12:55, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I understand you're only human, hell I've got in trouble loads of times on this page for being only human. But just try to refrain yourself from calling anyone an idiot, at least on Wikipedia mate. Cheers. Deely1 13:53, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kia Stevens[edit]

If it is cruft to list divas, why do we bother mentioning Michelle McCool? They haven't met more than once and she isn't even on TV anymore. Kharma actually has more of a storyline going with Layla or Kelly Kelly who have both fled her twice. Especially with Alicia Fox who has suffered a legitimate injury, that's a very critical observation. Injuries generally lead to future feuds (e.g. Jericho and Edge, Christian and Del Rio, Orton and Batista, Sheamus and Triple H, Undertaker and Kane in recent year or two), and sidelining a diva is a critical event. Alicia Fox's injury is potentially more important than the kayfabe injury of Michelle McCool.

I'll also reply on the talk page about this since you made other comments there. DB (talk) 18:51, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I copied whatever part of the commands that were already in the EDIT page. Looked OKAY to me to what I did edit of the Far right pane. My mistake for the headers. Just because he had already trained or was a professional wrestler, he still went back to the developmental terrority. It says he debuted. Their was no mention as to why he went back. Anytime a wrestler changes companies, they go through to re-train for the particular ways of that company. Bret Hart had to at the Power Plant when he left WWF to WCW. If kidman was the trainer at the Florida terrority and still is, most likely he helped Sheamus. Whether train or help develop Sheamus's character. Otherwise, what is the point of mentioning it on Kidman's page that he trained him at all? I thought you would have atleast picked up on that or edited Kidman's page which you haven't yet. I am sure when you do it, someone will change it back. Then you have a long talk with them as I am having with you.

The original was a toy but has since been replaced with a custom made belt and true DiBiase's belt was held over time but this title is still fairly new and DiBiase wasn't always announced as the Million Dollar champion back then and he didn't defend it that often only in the brief feud with Virgil. Let's not forget the WWE's mindset they push things one day, not the next, and the next day it is back again. Look at the light heavyweight belt, while true this was a sanctioned title, it vanished when Gillberg left but when he returned it was as if it never left the WWF. While this is an unsanctioned title in my opinion this belt is still an important piece of WWE history.(Edshaft (talk) 17:28, 1 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]

CM Punk[edit]

I have nominated CM Punk at WP:TFAR. There are some issues regarding its references that some current editors will need to address if this article is to appear on the main page on his birthday. Please see Wikipedia:Today's_featured_article/requests#October_26.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:37, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to withdraw the nomination within a few days, if there is no indication that its active editors are uninterested in cleaning it up for a main page run.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:04, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey. What is your involvement in the article. It seems that you may be the only active editor. The other two highly active contributors to the article seem to be vandal fighters or otherwise uninterested editors.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 16:53, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Madison Eagles[edit]

Regarding the message you left at Talk:Madison Eagles, if you would like the deletion to be reviewed, there's a sort of reverse WP:AfD process called a Deletion Review. If you'd like the article to be reviewed because of new content, I would go to WP:DELREV and follow the instructions to creating a new discussion. OlYellerTalktome 20:29, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PWI 500[edit]

You're always diligent about keeping articles in order, and since there's been a recurring problem lately with the PWI numbers being ranked in full I thought I'd seek out your opinion on the project page. Thanks. Papacha (talk) 01:35, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Punk & TLC~[edit]

You know I respect your opinion and assume you aren't a petty person that always has their way with articles (can't speak for myself), but I don't see why you're a hard-liner on removing the main from TLC. The Del Rio bit I think is harmless but okay; I'll agree to concede the point should you believe it serves no purpose. But a pay-per-view title defense that was the selling point for that particular show is worthy of notice, arguably more-so than some of the bits with Ziggler, which serves more as flavor for the feud with Laurinaitis. Papacha (talk) 01:11, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nah. You're in no way bogarting the article, just curious what your point-of-view was. You make a good point about Miz and Del Rio being also-rans in the scheme of things but yeah, so's Ziggler as Johnny Ace's prop. Punk not having a strong challenger for his title's a whole 'nother pickle; I just thought the TLC bout deserved some due attention. Papacha (talk) 19:16, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks~[edit]

Appreciate the compliment and the heads-up. Been lazy about doing the last half of the upload; maybe this'll help with the drudgery.

No dice on the Daniel Bryan World title front, sorry. You've got your oddly-angled images, photos that got boned in terms of positioning, and pics folks are holding out on. Hopefully at or around 'Mania. Papacha (talk) 09:35, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job getting the Bryan/AJ pic, I'll prolly crop it in a bit to bow out on some of the wasted space. Actually had a concern over the original world title image as I'd been in contact with the uploader and never heard anything until it suddenly appeared in Commons. Still have a doubt about its validity but cool for now. Papacha (talk) 13:27, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:RQW Heavyweight Championship.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:RQW Heavyweight Championship.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 17:29, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:British Strong Style as Progress Tag Champions.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
