Speedy deletion declined
Hi Shalir Salim, and welcome to Wikipedia! Please slow down and take more care with your speedy deletion nominations. You recently tagged the article (Chronicle of the Kings of England from the Time of the Romans' Government unto the Death of King James) for deletion as a blatant hoax. The book definitely exists (you can view a full scan here [1] so I've declined your nomination. Whether it is notable is up for debate; if you still believe the article should be deleted, please nominate it at Articles for deletion.
New Page Patrolling is a very important part of the encyclopedia, and I appreciate your work. However, it's just as important that we do it carefully and correctly. Be sure to read Wikipedia:New pages patrol and this essay on why it's important to be careful with page deletions. There are many other parts of Wikipedia you can work on too, like vandalism patrol, writing new articles, and copy-editing spelling and grammar mistakes. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on your talk page or leave a note on my talk page. Thanks! Altamel (talk) 03:17, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi Shalir Salim, I have also declined your speedy deletion nomination of Tito Hoz de Vila. You tagged it as lacking sufficient context, patent nonsense, test page and pure vandalism. The first one I can understand as the article had little content but a quick google search of the title produced plenty of information on the subject as well as an equivalent article in the Spanish Wikiepdia. I didn't feel it was patent nonsense, it was clearly as attempt by a new user to add the first sentence of the article. In cases like this it's important to open the edit view of the article as formatting errors can sometimes mask content. Again I don't feel it was a test page, but an attempt to create an article. As for the pure vandalism tag, either an article is a test page or its vandalism it can't be both. Please be very careful when accusing people of vandalism. There was nothing here to suggest that the user created the page in an attempt to vandalize, it was just malformed due to lack of experience. I suggest you take Altamel's advise and slow down when patrolling new pages. Think carefully about which speedy tag, if any, is appropriate and pick one or two that are best suited. Don't just add every tag that come remotely close and hope that one will work in getting it deleted. If you have any doubts it's best to leave it. If you have any questions then you can leave a message on my talk page and I'd be happy to help. Sarahj2107 (talk) 09:32, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

Deleting Mastering Jenkins
This page represents the publication information for a technology book. This provides useful insight into the overall contents of this book and provides details surrounding its publication by an international publisher. Please SLOW down on deleting random pages that you may not have interest in but others do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmcallister80 (talk • contribs) 19:50, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
Project ION/ProjectION
Hi Shalir Salim. You can nominate blatant copyright violations, such as that at Project ION, under the G12 criteria. You will be asked to supply the URL of the page that was copied.
I see you also left a notice with the contributor that their contribution to ProjectION was removed for copyright violations. That's not exactly true. The page had been nominated (by me) for speedy deletion as a copyright violation, but as of now, it has not yet been evaluated by an administrator. Regardless, the notice accompanying the speedy deletion should sufficiently explain the copyright concerns, so an additional notice isn't necessary. --Drm310 (talk) 21:45, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi, shalir Salim!
I think you should nominate the "article" [IETBB] for speed deletion, or simple delete it. You will see that the "editors" "favourable" to it always hide their identities. French and German wikipedias simply deleted it. Portuguese Wikipedia has proposed its elimination. View the [IETBB:Revision history] and see that many have "entered" Wikipedia just to edit the article. If you're not an administrator of en.wiki, tell the administrators about these suspecious edits. Note that the "budget" informed for the "seminary" (more than U$ 100 billion annually) is obviously a hoax. Best regards, and good luck on fighting the vandals! - I have declined your request for speedy deletion of IETBB; it does not fit either of the applicable criteria for speedy deletion:
- Criterion A7 specifically excludes educational institutions from speedy deletion
- Criterion G3 refers to blatant vandalism, and I don't see evidence of a deliberate attempt to undermine the integrity of Wikipedia
- That said, the article can still be put through normal deletion channels. Since deletion is likely to be contested, WP:Articles for deletion is the process I'd suggest, if you want to pursue deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 18:01, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi Shalir Salim
You have contested the existence of the page Jong school. I was simply trying to translate a page which already exists from Norwegian into English (see no:Jong skole). If you look at that the bottom of this page you will see 32 schools with wikipedia pages in Norwegian. I am not trying to promote a primary school or anything like that. I was only trying to provide a service by translating.
Contested deletion of Keith Miller & Helix Studios
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because .... it does not violate the wikipedia Rs. Research should be conducted and information should be added to this article. Do not contest for speedy deletion on wiki project if you haven't carried out research on a certain topic. Thank you for understanding. --99.106.222.184 (talk) 20:08, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello Shalir Salim. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), content (CSD A3), or significance (CSD A7) moments after they are created, as you did at Japekrom. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.Template:Z149 Adam9007 (talk) 22:10, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
Warnings
While I certainly do not disagree with your reversion of their spam edits, I think a 4im warning at User talk:Zoelunn is a bit excessive for a first offense, as it comes across as rather BITEY. {{welcomespam}} might have been a better option. Primefac (talk) 14:47, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
Contest the deletion of the page "Xiaoming Guo"
Dear Salim, Thanks for reaching out to me! As the page "xiaoming guo" is the very first Wiki page I tried to create for Dr. Guo who is currently running the Ontario Conservative Party nomination for 2018 provincial general election, I think I was blunt enough without actually stating the significance of this biographical page as of why it needs to be available on Wiki. Dr. Guo holds his Ph.D. degree in Physics from McGill University. After spending so many years in the academia, Dr. Guo decided to fully devote his energy to politics which is an area he has been active for years. In the past 20 years, he wrote hundreds of political blogs and inspired thousands of Chinese who live overseas to begin to or encouraged to get involved or involved more in social activities and politics. It is not an exaggeration that many people especially young people call him "the mentor" - I am being one of them. Almost all of his articles are in Chinese however. So with his permission, I was helping him to create his biographical Wiki page. Dr. Guo is a quite popular figure in the region of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Given his popularity and the potential public figure once as elected MPP (Member of Provincial Parliament), i believe his wiki page is justified. thank you and have a nice day!Changlingchen (talk) 16:07, 21 October 2017 (UTC)

Uncyclopedia
I'm a bit unsure about this edit as it looks like both the edit you're reverting and the version you reverted to contain vandalism or are factually wrong. I'd already warned user talk:73.181.138.61 for posting claims which were not in the cited source (which isn't encouraging when the cited source is Uncyclopedia) and you've merely reinstated his false claims of "a vote to merge" two of the projects. Q788771 (talk) 21:02, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- BFDIBebble is an obvious classic troll account and nothing to do with uncyclopedia.ca. This new account only had two edits, both on uncyclopedia and nowhere else on wikipedia. --Gepid (talk) 21:14, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Understood, but 73.181.138.61 was also doing disruptive things such as edit warring, replacing valid links (neciklopedio.org) with dead links (neciklopedio.wikia.com), posting false info (the claim of a vote to "merge" two of the wikis) and removing valid data (the links to the .ca site). Reverting one to the other doesn't help if they're both wrong. Q788771 (talk) 21:55, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
