What's with the formatting?

Why does this bio for an actress contain detailed plot summaries for every episode of several TV shows? Somebody messed up. 66.244.81.251 (talk) 00:52, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Coming out

Is it going to be added that Bex came out?--70.72.45.234 (talk) 07:53, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Scream

In the section for Scream, you said that Scream ended in 2016. However, they are bringing it back in a few weeks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Higginsal (talkcontribs) 21:54, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

MTV Scream was reboot with a new cast, hence the end date.--QueerFilmNerd (talk) 22:22, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pronouns

Just wanna do a talk here on the pronouns we want to use for Bex so we don't have edit wars, and so future editors know. Since Bex has stated she has zero preference for pronouns as long as it's said with respect (as said here and here), I think we should figure out what pronouns are used on this page. Just so we can come to a consensus! QueerFilmNerdtalk 21:32, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What is currently in the article is reflective of the source. However, I'm just wondering why it is listed in bold, is that necessary? --Sadsignal (talk) 12:32, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, so I think we should keep the pronouns as they are. Bex has stated a lack of preference for pronouns, so I see no reason to change them. I also removed the bolded statements. QueerFilmNerdtalk 15:25, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
They prefer "They/their", @Anthony Appleyard:, They can singular… So please, don't just say this is "plurial". Now, their preferred pronoun is they, as they posted on twitter. I know a Twitter post is not enough for a source for many stuffs… But well… Pronoun is a basis about respecting transgenders and non binary. And Wikipedia doesn't misrespect persons. They've posted their preffered pronoun on Twitter. I know they said they respond to every pronoun, but… They prefer "they/their"… Why do you keep she/her in the page while someone did the change ? I'm a bit confused. Respecting pronouns is not that hard… Even more if someone did the job. Why should we keep "She/her" ? --FirePowi (talk) 21:22, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

s It seems since saying that they have zero preference, Bed has changed their Instagram bio to say "they/them". One can assume this means they now use they exclusively, and the page should be altered accordingly. Syl32802 (talk) 15:39, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I updated the article to use the correct pronouns.--Phoenixlover200 (talk) 16:14, 20 January 2019 (UTC

Gender and pronouns should be corrected. See: https://www.pride.com/comingout/2018/7/31/arrow-voltron-star-bex-taylor-klaus-just-came-out-non-binary Ladognome (talk) 00:42, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done:: Bex has stated that she doesn't have preferred pronouns. She's fine with anything as long as it's said with respect. Unless she specifies she wants to go by they/them specifically, there's no reason to change them. QueerFilmNerdtalk 01:00, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring over pronouns

This stops now. I have protected the article for a week due to the interminable edit warring from established editors over which pronouns to use. Discuss it here, present evidence as to why "their/they" should be used, or "she/her". Come to a consensus, and implement it in a week. Further edit-warring over this following the expiration of the protection will result in editors temporarily losing their editing access. Fish+Karate 10:23, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

While I'm not against they/them being used (Bex has stated recently that they do like they/them), Bex has ALSO stated that they are fine with any pronouns being used (as said here), so I don't see a reason that we need to change the pronouns. However, if a consensus can be come to to use they/them I won't oppose it. QueerFilmNerdtalk 18:35, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In response to Syl32802 above, since they do seem to have a preference for they/them right now (though do answer to anything as long as it's said with respect), I'm fine with they/them being used exclusively since that does seem to be their preference right now. Transgender

I'm pretty Bex is transgendered, not non-binary. Scream4man (talk) 03:07, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Transgender not transgendered. Anyways, transgender is an umbrella term for anyone who doesn't fall within the typical gender binary most people know. So, trans people male to female and female to male, as well as agender, non-binary, and other identifying people are all trans! QueerFilmNerdtalk 08:18, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This person's pronouns are they/them, I want to change them to 'they/them' in the article since that's how they wish to be referred to.

See this section of the talkpage Jarkeld (talk) 10:11, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've been following Bex for a while on social media and they do seem to prefer they/them pronouns, however, finding a source where they state this lead to this being the only thing I am able to find. Do we want to wait for a little more clarification from them? QueerFilmNerdtalk 08:16, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

there are 2 sides to pronouns

Just because somebody wants to be referred to in a certain way, doesn't mean you have to. If, for example, somebody didn't want their birth name mentioned, would you leave it out? Using correct grammar is NOT disrespect... 108.20.114.62 (talk) 12:00, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
